Is it a palace? A movie backdrop? Well, it’s actually our beautiful conference venue for #isjr2023! The Katholische Akademie is located in the heart of Schwabing, close to the University, and right next to Englischer Garten. See what makes this area so special 👇🏼(1/4)

The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität came to Munich in 1826 (founded in 1472). The historic buildings are worth a visit. Here, social justice connoisseurs shouldn’t miss the memorial to the student resistance group “Weiße Rose” who rose up against the Nazi regime. (3/4)

Englischer Garten is one of the largest urban public parks in the world (370ha/910acres). The park stretches right to the city center. It’s perfect for a quick stroll between conference events, an extended route for motivated runners, or just some relaxing in the sun. (4/4)
