Geordie and MK.Gee proving that you can do incredible things with the guitars and do very good songs. It’s lovely to see that instrument THRIVING

Hope MK.Gee is proud of himself. Dead good at guitar.

Becoming obsessed with this Geordie Greep record he’s like a man raised by his nan and a middle aged neighbour with an exhaustive collection of vintage erotica and bossanova records. He’s like Robert Crumb invented a jazz prog fusion guitarist.

Hope GOAT are proud of themselves, hit a worldy with World Music but been tapping that same source for an age, then change it up a smidge on the self titled and back making themselves damn damn proud

Hope Tucker Zimmerman is proud of himself cos the lad has pumped his best shit out at 83. I’ll likely be brown bread before that age

Hear loads of The Sundays in the pop music of the moment, Billie Eilish sounds well Harriet Wheeler on 'Birds of a Feather'. And beabadoobee is just wholesale.

Hope Geordie Greep is proud of himself, I reckon he is. What a ridiculous record The New Sound is, good overblown silly fun for all ages.

Mad stat that. I realised the chasm between the music industry in London and elsewhere when I went to the Manchester Indie Label market and it wasn’t heaving with labels.

Got dem tickets, standing. Cannot wait to feel the euphoric warmth of orange piss from a paper cup smashing me in the kisser during The Importance of Being Idle.

This lad is just spurting the same old for a pay check. He bemoans Oasis as harming the evolution of British rock but I have never seen him talk about any new music. One of those music critics who is stuck in a vortex where they just stop talking about anything post 2001.

I oddly couldn’t agree more with Neil on this but also, I do have very fond memories of Oasis and find a lot of beauty and joy in their first two albums plus the B Sides, yet agree that they did lay a blueprint for what a British rock band should be.

If you’ve seen Oasis 10+ times in your youth, reckon you’re back of the queue. Allow those who weren’t around first time, in their youth and excited to experience a paper cup of steaming urine in the face whilst listening to the importance of being idle to get front of line.

Noel Gallagher has size five and a half feet, thought I dreamt this article. Picture of him comparing shoes with Justine from elastica's whopping size 7s.

Not usually a Fontaines fan but that intake of breath is the hook of the year
