the migration is the hard part, not the crypto.
monad's team just released quantum cadence, post-quantum consensus with no quorum certificates, before anyone forced them to.
bitcoin's problem is coordination: getting millions of wallets to move coins in time.
🎙️ @Stacks founder @muneeb says that it is crunchtime and Bitcoin is already at a point where it should have a clear roadmap for a quantum-resistant upgrade.
"The upgrade will go live and people need some time to do the transfers to the new addresses and so on. There has to be a big educational process, wallet integrations and and and and so on. So it's a lot of work."

Quantum-Resistance is hard because PQ signatures are much larger (25x larger) and quorum certificates on PQ signatures are much much larger (2500x larger)
So, @category_xyz solved this problem with Quantum Cadence, a new version of Cadence that eliminates quorum certificates altogether. The new protocol actually scales better with more proposers.
Incredibly exciting developments in the Monad world. Monad will simply run faster as quantum takes center stage
