Chief Minister congratulated Hon’ble Minister of Education, Mrs. Shamim Fidrous on notifying the Jammu & Kashmir Private Universities Rules, 2026, marking a significant step towards facilitating the establishment of reputed national and international institutions of higher learning in J&K.
The Rules provide for streamlined approval procedures, 25% reservation for J&K domiciles in admissions and employment, effective regulatory oversight and stringent penalties for violations, with a focus on transparency, accountability and academic standards.
Describing the notification as an important milestone in strengthening the higher education sector, the Chief Minister said the new framework would facilitate institutional investment, expand educational and employment opportunities for local youth, and promote excellence in teaching, research and innovation. He further observed that the initiative would encourage the establishment of institutions across disciplines, including STEM, Medicine, Law, Business Studies and Liberal Arts, while advancing the Government's objective of making quality higher education accessible to students within J&K and developing the region as a competitive destination for higher learning and research.

Actually you didn't lose composure, you got stripped to show your true colors. Before lecturing others on dignity perhaps practise some of it. Your "higher-ups" exploiting a dead boy's memory is hardly a masterclass in principled politics. Selling a grieving father's pain as political prop, parading his grief for cheap mileage is shameless political theatre. If that isn't stooping low, what is?
Moral superiority cannot be manufactured through sanctimonious speeches. Words fail your deeds & how! Watch this space.
After I and some of my friends lost our composure for a while in responding to cheap attacks, a clear message came from the higher-ups at the office: do not stoop low, regardless of how low others may go. As they rightly put it, it is better to lose an argument than to win it through cheapness.
And this is precisely what sets Aga Sahab apart. He says “we cannot claim to practise a different kind of politics unless we uphold the very principles that make us different.”

Busy predicting the NC’s collapse, oblivious to their own political implosion.
For months, the opposition has been counting imaginary rebels in the @JKNC_
and predicting its collapse.
The only thing that seems to be collapsing is the credibility of those making these predictions.
Perhaps it’s time they stopped manufacturing cracks in other parties and started examining the fractures in their own political relevance.

Personal liberty: one step forward, two steps back.
The "prejudice" test is precisely why police have ignored due process for years.
If a breach of procedure has no consequence unless the accused proves prejudice, there's no reason to comply. That’s been the experience.
Rights without remedies, like traffic signals in India, are just suggestions not mandates.

I, in my entire political career, haven't come across a team this filthy. What a fall for a man who we all thought so highly of at one point.
I THINK OPERATION TAZLEEL (تذلیل ) HAS BEEN INITIATED BY TEAM AGA RUHULLAH.
Thank you, @RuhullahMehdi, for having a team that takes pride in demeaning, disgracing, disrespecting , humiliating, dishonoring, degrading, disreputing a daughter of the soil.
Unfortunately, this is precisely the change we feared and warned against. The beginning of organised trolling, where disagreement is replaced by personal attacks and manufactured humiliation.
Is insulting and degrading a daughter of the soil what you call change? Is this the new political culture you wish to promote?
You don't have to agree with a woman to respect her dignity. Political differences can never justify the public humiliation of a woman. @IfraJan_

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah are looking at these matters minutely. All legislators are in touch with the leadership.
