only gotten through the first couple of temples but i am absolutely blown away by the ocarina of time remake. it’s genuinely one of the most polished, detailed, refined triple A games i’ve ever played
…and the voice acting! has been interesting!
ok we might just have to do another ignition server later this year bc this gets rid of like 90% of the headache for me :D
blue wave today, oot remake tonight, going on a fun sightseeing trip this weekend, i am BEAMING dude. life is so awesome
just announced this to my parents as if it was some devastating election day update. “did you guys hear the news…” as i grab the remote. such an elite bit
imo this is huge. like warp points would’ve been useful ig but ultimately the world is not THAT big and the exploration is such a crucial element. im glad they’re making thoughtful decisions like this rather than just adding modern mechanics for the sake of modernizing
Eiji Aonuma says he got the development team to add warp points to Ocarina of Time Remake only to tell them later to take it out:
"I thought we needed to address this in this new version. So I asked the team to add warp points that didn’t exist in the original game, giving players access to shortcuts. But when we actually tried playing the game with those warp points, we realized that we were missing out on the moments of discovery that came from stopping along the way and wondering, 'Wait, what’s this?'
Through this development process, we were reminded once again just how important those moments are to the very structure of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. So even though I was the one who proposed adding warp points, they just weren't working for me in the end, so I got the team to take them all back out again. (Laughs)"

genuinely cannot wait to rewatch you can see everything now that i’ve experienced the rehearsal and better understand nathan fielder’s whole Thing
this is shown within the first few minutes of the movie, and the message completely stuck with me until the credits rolled. the entire movie is such a breathtaking piece of handmade craftwork, and we’re so lucky to still be able to see shit like this get made.
was genuienly experiencing a top 10 worst day of my life contender and then my friend bought me two drinks and this has now become The greatest fucking day ever :D

DD writing was sharp because the pay off to “Do you really think this is the first time I’ve shot someone?” was worthy of the three seasons it took to the show to answer the question.
still cannot believe how good this game looks. every clip i see of it completely blows me away

i don’t even have words, this is genuinely devastating. i hope he knew how much his character was loved

ok my tl needs to stop being so digger pilled. i need to think of other things besides digger. my life needs to move on. digger can’t be all that’s left
i can’t say this movie as a whole has my favorite score of the year but this specific piece is probably my favorite single track from any movie so far this year
he’s clearly dealing with some really troubling shit in his life which seems to be the primary cause of this movie’s production delays and i think a lot of you are going to regret some of the shit you’re saying about him rn if more details ever come to light
