"Prepping" is manifestation of the negative.
If enough folks BELIEVE danger is imminent (despite zero evidence of actual danger or its imminence) and prepare accordingly, the shared state of unease and panic creates a frequency that re-authors reality because we render as we go.
A lot of people asking whether they should stock up on emergency supplies. The answer is quite obviously that you should. There is absolutely no downside to being prepared and massive downside to not being prepared. We’ve already seen global lockdowns, runs on necessary supplies, and mass rioting. That was just a few years ago. If you’re trying to convince yourself that something like that won’t happen again — and maybe a lot worse this time around — you should stop. Be prepared. There is no rational argument against preparation. Will anything catastrophic actually happen soon? I have no clue. There are enough signals to take the possibility seriously. Way better to err on the side of caution with these things.
