Hello Friends.
The Dr is suggesting I get another MRI for my neck. I am still experiencing pain more than 1 year after my fall and I really shouldn't be. Likely I am just too old to recover...😅
So to help with the cost I am going to try to sell 4 of my higher valued MTG items. I will post more photos in a thread.

I'm also willing to bet that over half the traffic on this hellsite these days is entirely inauthentic - either sock puppet accounts or straight up bots - and there's a good chance you're trying to roast or argue with someone who doesn't actually exist.

The number of absolute trash posts that have ended up in my feed because a bunch of people quoted a fifty follower account that said some headass shit is crazy. You can just go ignore them, or block and move on. Not everything is a hill to die on. Just don't give them any air.

One of the remarkable things about modern social media is how we are endlessly exposed to the worst possible takes, both because the algorithm chooses violence and shoves them in our faces but also because people feel compelled to respond and amplify things no one should see.

This is going to be a long post about today's Commander B&R announcement.
I've had quite a number of people reach out to get my thoughts, and I wanted to take the day to gather them before putting anything out into the world.
Social media isn't a medium designed to deal in nuance. Instead, it's made to intentionally amplify short, radical opinions in order to drive engagement.
I have no interest in using this platform and this topic to do anything other than to discuss the B&R announcement, and to do so in a constructive way.

2. I am angry at Zain. I am furious at him for his bigotry, misogyny, and antisemitism. That he has taken something wonderful that he had a hand in building and tainted it with his hateful social media. There's no room for him in this community now.

Most of all I'm just sad.. like I'm sitting here in tears because over the last two years almost 3 years of my life I've made so many real friendships and met so many truly wonderful people who are all now hurt, confused, angry and all of us with no idea of what comes next
