I wanted to know how I could get better at WoW, and more specifically, when.
Not just “your DPS was low.”
Not just a giant combat log.
So I made an addon.
GetGud Tracker.

notes in the zip 🤷♂️
WoW Forever is the farm upstate for MMO gamers.
Pressing a button every 15–30 seconds isn’t engaging gameplay. I solo’d Hogger at level 10. Why are y’all making groups? GetGud.
I’m glad Forever exists and people enjoy it, but watching grass grow isn’t skill expression.
I'll take Killing Machine procs. Y'all can keep the interactive screensaver.

STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

🚨 BREAKING: Polls have closed across Azeroth, and multiple outlets are now projecting that both the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor have flipped BLUE.
Record turnout is being reported across both continents, with analysts calling it a historic shift in the political landscape.
See you, Forever soon. 💙
Some of you have turned liking a version of WoW into a personality test.
I've been playing this game since 2004. I've played through every era, done the Classic thing, gone back to Retail, and now I'm a Mythic raider. I play Retail because the combat scratches my brain in a way other games just don't.
So when I say the tribalism around WoW is exhausting, I'm not saying it from one side of the fence.
Retail players shitting on Classic. Classic players shitting on Retail. Forever players acting like they've discovered the one true version of Warcraft. "You're not a real WoW player if—"
And this isn't even new.
I had conversations at BlizzCon where people got genuinely high and mighty about being Classic players, and the amount of shit being talked about other versions of the game was wild.
At BlizzCon.
A convention for people who all ostensibly love Warcraft.
Classic wasn't for me long-term. Retail is. I've played DK since Wrath and I fucking love my class.
And I'm also loving Forever for something completely different: slowing down and letting the world be the main character again.
If you love Retail, awesome.
If Classic is your home, hell yeah.
If Forever brought you back after ten years away, I'm glad you're here.
WoW doing well is good for all of us.
We don't need another console war where everyone spends their time proving their version is the "real" one.
Play the game you like.
Help people get better.
Be excited that Warcraft is healthy enough to give us multiple ways to enjoy it.
And if your whole personality is telling other people they're stupid for having fun differently than you?
You can miss me with all that.
We're all neighbors here.

Imagine wasting Jared Goff’s prime… for multiple seasons.
Because you’re too smug to fall on your sword and right your wrongs of personel mismanagement.
Sometimes I yearn for 2007, when the NFL bravely informed America that the Plain White T’s had more than one song.
Those “Our Time Now” hype videos had absolutely no business going that hard.
