Most people think prop trading is about finding a strategy. It's actually about understanding who the asymmetry favors you or the firm's fee model. Edge, sizing, and track record compound. Everything else is noise.

In the EU, CFD brokers have to publish what % of their retail accounts lose money. When regulators first ran the numbers in 2018, it was 74% to 89%. Most people assume those traders had a bad strategy. I don’t think that’s it. Most accounts die before the strategy ever gets a fair test: → Sizing too big → No invalidation level → Moving stops because “it’ll come back” → Cutting winners early out of fear → Overtrading, and paying spread on every impulse That’s not a system problem. That’s a behavior problem. Here’s how I see it: Boring discipline is how you survive. A tested, positive-expectancy process is how you profit. Most people fail at the first, so they never find out whether they have the second. But be clear: discipline alone doesn’t make money. With no edge, perfect risk management just means you lose slowly. What discipline does is turn trading from gambling into an experiment. You can’t measure an edge when one oversized trade erases fifty good ones. So the order matters: Survive. Small size, defined risk. Track. Journal every trade. Test. Let the data tell you if there’s an edge. Scale. Only once you’ve earned it. Most people start at step 4. The edge isn’t a secret. It’s just boring, and boring is expensive psychologically. Most people won’t pay it. Educational only. Not financial advice.

“It is basically an accounting trick … Banks create money. They don’t lend it … When a bank gives out what is called a loan, it basically pretends that you have deposited the money… it has to invent the liability … This is how the money supply is created.” - Prof Richard Werner

$RKT is one stock I'm keeping a close eye on this earnings season Rocket Companies sits at an interesting intersection of housing demand, mortgage rates, and Fed policy. With interest-rate expectations constantly shifting, even a small change in macro sentiment could trigger significant volatility in RKT. Here's how I'm looking at it 👇 📊 My trading scenarios: 🟢 Bullish: If earnings deliver positive surprises and mortgage-rate expectations improve, a move above $10.5–$10.8 could put the $12–$12.6 zone back in focus. 🔴 Bearish: If higher Treasury yields continue pressuring housing demand, losing the $10.2 area could signal further downside risk. But there's another factor I think traders shouldn't overlook: execution and capital efficiency. Earnings reactions don't always happen during regular U.S. market hours. That's where @bitget_TradFi's rRKT becomes interesting. With 24/7 trading access, traders can monitor price action and react to developments without waiting for the next U.S. session. @Bitget stock/rToken liquidity runs deeper than you think. For event-driven setups, available order-book depth matters because tighter spreads and lower slippage can make a meaningful difference when volatility spikes. For traders, holding rTokens within Bitget's Unified Trading Account (UTA) may also create opportunities to manage collateral more efficiently and explore spot-perps hedging strategies where supported. Personally, I'd rather wait for confirmation around key levels than chase the first earnings-driven move. Position sizing, liquidity, and risk management matter more than predicting every candle. 🔗 Explore rRKT trading: bitget.com/spot/RRKTUSDT Markets can move quickly around earnings and Fed developments. Leverage increases risk, and liquidity is never guaranteed. Product availability and eligibility vary by region. DYOR. #Bitget #TradFiPerps

$RKT isn't just a mortgage lender anymore. Rocket now owns Redfin and Mr. Cooper. That's the home search, the loan, and the servicing after you close, all in one house. Last quarter they closed $49B in loans (+69% YoY), and they now service over $2 trillion in mortgages. The stock hasn't caught up. It's down 50% from January, sitting 23% below its 50-week average, with weekly RSI near oversold. I'm taking a starter around $11.85 before Thursday's earnings. If the print shakes it down into the $9.85–$10.10 wholesale zone, I'm adding. First stop is $14.80, then $16.83, and if it really gets going, $19.70. I'm wrong on a weekly close under $9.80. NFA

New 4.5★ review on my Udemy course: "Excellent strategy, well laid out. The longer time frames allow for a lot more flexibility." He also said my mic sounds rough. Fair. It's getting fixed 😂 Weekly charts, few trades, a plan built for prop firm rules.

AUD/CAD. Five months capped at the same supply band. Sellers keep showing up in the same place. Short from retail. Targets sit down at wholesale. If the week closes back above the zone, I’m wrong and I’ll say so. No chasing. Let price come to the level. Education only. Not financial advice.
$AUDCAD rallied for a year. Now it's stuck at the one area sellers defend. How to read a top before it becomes obvious 👇

$USDZAR weekly 👀 Bounced hard off the 16.00 zone and just printed another green candle at 16.42. Holding this level keeps the door open for a push toward 17.00–17.80. Bulls starting to take control. 📈 #USDZAR #Forex

Your last high, 211.99, is above the two before it, so that reads more like a range to me 🙃

Sellers showing up right at that level is the cleanest part of this chart 😅

$USDCAD just got rejected at retail. Sellers showed up exactly where they should, and the momentum that carried it up is gone. Where I'd sell it, the targets, and where I'm wrong are in the comments 👇

$ORCL is basically impossible to ignore at these levels. The company is now trading at 13.6x NTM Earnings, while expecting to double revenue over the next 2 years. The debt risk is a lot smaller compared to Neoclouds like $CRWV, and will most likely start to shrink by 2030. This is one of the easiest long-term bets on computing capacity now. I think we will see price triple in less than 2 years now. Save this and thank me later.

$GBPJPY weekly: from 219.6 (Jul) to 207.1 (Sep), now a 7-week range under 212. Lower highs: 211.3 → 210.9 → 210.0 → 210.2 → 211.99 Stage analysis: not an uptrend anymore. Bearish bias only below 212. Confirmation = weekly close under 206.9. Late bulls buying "the dip" need to ask: where is my invalidation? Educational, not advice. #GBPJPY #Forex
$GBPJPY is starting to look tired after a long run. Something's shifting on the chart. Full breakdown is up on my Substack.
