Over the years, I have tried to share learnings from my startups and seed investing.
Decided to combine my startup tweets+tweetstorms into a tweethurricane.
Here are my learnings + advice, from pitching investors to getting through the journey:
Excited to back SiggyMD to help solve the mental healthcare shortage problem globally.
Fun fact: second time backer of both Jonathan and Eddie!
Meet @SiggyMD! 🚀 @edvardenge and I are launching with $6M led by @VillageGlobal to make expert mental healthcare part of everyday life. AI + licensed clinicians for the weeks between appointments.
Our story in @CrunchbaseNews: news.crunchbase.com/venture/…
7/ Eventually big banks may build for agents instead of blocking them, but founders don’t have time to wait for that.
We’re building banking* for how founders already work. Now it’s even easier to see and manage agent access in Mercury with Agent Controls.
*While we’ve received conditional approval to become a bank, Mercury today is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A.
I made it into the ultimate face mash.

Did a podcast appearance for KP's Grit podcast.
Talked about founder mindset, frothy markets, hiring execs and lots more.
Fun listen:
Raising more money doesn't mean you should spend more money.
That’s the belief of @immad, co-founder and CEO of @mercury, the financial platform behind one in three US startups.
On Grit, he discusses spending discipline, keeping companies innovative as they scale, and why he believes founders don't need to work seven days a week.
Full episode out now.
Subvocalization!
Thats some real sci-fi stuff!
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again.
Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both
Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard.
It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min.
Pre-orders are now live at:

Amazon.com and DoorDash make a lot (most?) of their margins on ads.
Ads don’t show up in agent interfaces.
The way I now shop is I have agents research a product for me and then buy it. It’s great.
Presumably prices go up across ecom to make up for this loss of revenue. Since fighting the agents seems impossible.
One thing this analysis is missing is that computer can be resold.
xAI overbuilt but then made a ton of profit on leasing compute to Anthropic.
As long as we are compute constrained this duration mismatch is manageable.
Seems likely we will continue to be compute constrained since real life can’t keep up with AI usage exponential.
1/ Excited to announce our new company Particle
This is our first step in a series of models focused on developers.
With particle-1, we focused on token efficiency and managed to keep parity in performance while using ~45% fewer tokens.
