Starting a thread with my steel book collection. Nice way to sort of archive it. Is there a better way to start it off than on the 19th anniversary of the one that started it all for me? The Halo 2 collectors edition. Still one of my favs!

The city in missions 8 and 9 of Ace Combat 8 looked very familiar…. It’s most def supposed to be Toronto lol always cool to see it represented in games even if a fictional version of it, since it’s so rare.

Next up I decided to go with Ace Combat. Bought 7 right after I saw Top Gun Maverick and had a good time and couldn’t ignore the praise Wings of Theve is getting. Highway to the danger zone baby!!

Credits on Castlevania Belmonts Curse. Got the true ending. Absolutely loved it. A great metroidvania overall with a few things I hope they address in a sequel but they def did the series justice.

Hahahaha I was not expecting that music!! Hell yeah! 🤘 #chainedEchoes

I’m really enjoying Castlevania Belmonts Curse. So glad the franchise is back. Great combo of platforming and combat. Was kind of worried about the art style when I saw trailers but I’ve come to love it. It only gets better the further I get.

Let’s effing go!!!

It’s been way too long since a new Castlevania has released and so far Belmonts curse hasn’t disappointed. Loving it!

Went in to pick up two games and turns out I totally forgot I had already paid off one earlier… so I did the adult thing and instead of saving that money, I had to make it a 3 game day because I have the willpower of a crack fiend.

The sense of speed in Star Wars Galactic Racer is insane…

Credits on Onimusha. First in the series for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. CAPCOM really is on a roll! Combat in this game is 100% A tier and made its defensive play style incredibly stylish. Highly recommend.

Credits on Gears of War E-Day. I need to strew on it a bit more but I think it might be my favorite in the series. The addition of all the movement mechanics and more fluid cover really makes a huge difference. Loved it!

Was only able to play a bit of Gears last night but I can say, at least visually… it makes a great first impression. Also loved the title card reveal. Felt like a horror movie.

Shorter show this week due to no news worth talking about but lots of game talk regardless. Also, I effing LOVED Dawnwalker

Awwww yeah!

Credits on Persona 3 Reload. First one I’ve finished. Started in July as my main game, then became my “and” game and then my “and, and” game but it’s finally done. Looking forward to the 4 remake next year and by that time I might be ready for another persona game lol

With Dawnwalker wrapped up. Straight into another banger.

Credits on The Blood of Dawnwalker. Saying I loved it is an understatement. Very good story telling, great characters and choices that felt like they really mattered. Excited for how good the sequel can be with a bigger budget and some of the mechanics fleshed out.

A heads up to anyone with the physical version of the Witcher 3 on switch. Once you download the free update to Remastered from the title screen. You can launch remastered on switch 2 without the cart inserted.
