When this conversation comes up, I always go back to this really succinct quote from Fran Lebowitz.
You know. I DO feel validated that the SDCC trailer flopped so hard they had to bait the haladriels for engagement THAT HARD.
Nvm. I’m no longer sat. I’m giving up my prime subscription. The clown shoes are being packed away 😔✌️ it was a fun (1) week of joy

two seasons of character arc, countless interviews talking about the romantic implications (that were also obvious on screen), just for it to have no consequences on the actual character in S3 cause we're doing a soft reboot. I'm glad I know this so I can manage my expectations.
Omg. Women like this are so funny. This isn’t a real issue. Free Palestine
This adaption was written by woman who hates Mr. Darcy. She's said “Him being held up as a romantic hero is a myth which has had a really insidious ripple effect on dating culture right up until now.” That many women had a kind of Stockholm syndrome to the character. And that he was a “conceited, bullish and rude snob who, as my fellow millennials would say, needs to check his privilege.”
Every time this man comes up on my FYP I’m reminded that he called thousands of women & me a Ted Bundy supporter over liking a children’s fantasy character and I just hope he knows I will have a grudge against him forever.

None of the tech bros are smarter than you and I - they just keep proving how stupid their ideas are because they don’t think about any of the consequences except for their own profits
