🚀 Big News: the Open Avatar Standards (OAS) working group is here. Led by @opdotxyz, we’re bringing the open metaverse together around one mission: → Avatars that are interoperable, composable, intelligent & truly owned by you. Partners: @MSquared_io @TheReadyverse @futureverse @thinkagents @cmnd_line @Beamable @niftyisland @InceptiveStudio @futureprimitive @erc6551 @MeebitsNFTs 📌 Why it matters: Avatars shouldn’t be trapped in silos. With OAS, our goal is to make sure your digital identity moves freely across engines, worlds, and AI agents. 💡 What’s ahead: – Shared formats (VRM, glTF, MML, UBF) – AI-powered agentic avatars – Open toolkits + SDKs for devs & creators – Monthly demos + community RFCs This is the future of identity in the open metaverse. This is OAS. ⚡ Get involved: see article link in thread to learn more 👇 🎙️ Join us in 1 hour → we’re hosting a Space to dive into OAS and answer questions. See the link below in this thread.
