On those dark nights when the nightmares in that Tatooine cave were at their worst for poor Obi-Wan, Jinn was there. He was always there for his friend.
A word of encouragement. That was all he needed to give and yet…he couldn’t. Something prevented him. Obi-Wan’s guilt for what had happened, the loss of his apprentice, his friend, his brother. Perhaps it was all too much? A hug, if the Force allowed, would have gone a long way.
He heard him, this whole time, over the last ten years. Obi-Wan, his apprentice, so broken and sad, crying out for help. He wanted to reach out and offer support but he couldn’t, his former padawan was not yet ready to see.
