ELON MUSK, ITโ€™S TIME TO ANSWER TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Itโ€™s time to investigate DOGE, access to sensitive government data, and the billions awarded in federal contracts. If thereโ€™s nothing to hide, testifying under oath shouldnโ€™t be a problem.

๐Ÿšจ WARNING What I'm hearing here on the ground in Tennessee: Trump wants Pete Hegseth OUT, and Governor-elect Marsha Blackburn is likely to appoint him to her U.S. Senate seat in January. Hegseth already established residency in Tennessee, and the move would conveniently allow him to escape the threat of being impeached and removed from his Cabinet position. Nothing confirmed, but based on what I'm hearing, I'd put the chances of this happening at 75%. The only thing worse than Secretary Hegseth would be SENATOR Hegseth.

Voters could plainly see how a lack of guardrails on an out-of-control president led to terrible outcomes for the economy, government services, and basic personal freedoms. Midterms often check the party in power, but this was off the charts. Other presidents have weathered inflation, high gas prices, and foreign conflicts without facing this kind of collapse. This wasnโ€™t a normal midterm rebalancing โ€” it was a total rejection of the authoritarian philosophy that has defined this administration. And it happened up and down the ticket, all across the country. ifyoucankeepit.org/p/the-midโ€ฆ

And many who will pretend they didn't profit from Trump and his lies.
Going to be a lot of Republican establishment types who pretend they never endorsed Donald Trump, never supported all the things he did that they never had the courage to speak up about at the time he was doing them.

Crime without accountability is practice. Justice is not vengeance. When the Soviet Union collapsed, we let euphoria blind us to the need for the hard work of investigation and responsibility. Do not forgive, do not forget, and clean house.

Make no mistake: last nightโ€™s victory wasn't an accident. Americans showed up, against the odds, in historic numbers to reject corruption and save democracy. The pro-democracy coalition organized, litigated, and anticipated every dirty trickโ€”from ICE intimidation to ballot seizuresโ€”shutting down their authoritarian election playbook. The disaster didnโ€™t fail to happen because the danger wasn't real; it failed because we stopped it. We won the night. Now comes the mandate: dismantle executive overreach and ensure we never go back. From me. ifyoucankeepit.org/p/the-midโ€ฆ

Elon's wager: Just imagine moving your operations to Texas and spending a half billion on MAGA Republicans, and about half of that in Texas alone, and getting these results.

The MAGA authoritarians manufactured an EXTINCTION-level event for themselves. They did it. On purpose. Over and over and over again. With ICE. With the corruption. With their unqualified & cruel appointees. With total arrogance and indecency all around. This is Trump's legacy we need to cement in his final two years in office. It wasn't a single policy; it's a FAILED MOVEMENT. They got all the power. Everything they wanted. And this is what America thought of it all. Midterms 2026.

โ€œYour political allegiance does not absolve you of moral responsibility. You do not get to set aside your conscience during an election and retrieve it afterward.โ€ ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป
I have been holding my tongue about something that happened during the Ohio gubernatorial race. I refused to speak while the election was underway because I did not want my words mistaken for an attempt to influence anyoneโ€™s vote. But now that the election is over, I have something to say. For nearly twenty years, my ministry has taken me among the homeless, the abused, the exploited, and the forgotten. I have sat with victims of sexual violence and witnessed the lifelong wounds of childhood trauma. What Vivek Ramaswamyโ€™s campaign did to Amy Acton was among the most morally repulsive things I have witnessed in American politics. They took a woman whose stepfather was indicted for raping her when she was twelve years old and featured her mother, from whom she had been estranged for nearly fifty years, in a political advertisement attacking her credibility. The advertisement challenged Actonโ€™s account of her childhood without mentioning the sexual abuse allegations or the circumstances of that estrangement. When people expressed their horror, the campaign defended it. Imagine examining another personโ€™s childhood suffering and fractured family relationships, then deciding those wounds might help win an election. Anyone who has worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse understands the painful realities of denial, betrayal, shame, and estrangement. A child growing into a successful adult does not erase what happened. Nor does a parentโ€™s denial make that suffering disappear. I find it equally disturbing that an elderly mother, whom Acton herself described as unwell, was brought into this spectacle. Whatever her own struggles or responsibility for the past, exploiting that fractured relationship was grotesque. To everyone who defended this, consider the message you sent to survivors. To the young woman whose family refuses to believe her. To the man who has carried the shame of childhood abuse for forty years. To the frightened child who has yet to tell anyone. What did you teach them about the value of their suffering? I am a priest. I believe in repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. But none of those things requires me to pretend that deliberate cruelty is anything less than a grave moral failure. Your political allegiance does not absolve you of moral responsibility. You do not get to set aside your conscience during an election and retrieve it afterward. If your loyalty requires you to defend the exploitation of a childhood sexual abuse survivor, your loyalty has become an idol. And if your conscience cannot recognize the wrong here, examine what political tribalism has done to it. This is not about Republicans or Democrats. We have a choice as a people: continue excusing cruelty from our preferred political camp, or summon the courage to condemn it wherever it appears. Amy Acton deserved better. Every survivor who watched this unfold deserved better. And God help us if we have reached the point where winning an election matters more than protecting the dignity of a wounded human being.

People will try to blame gas prices, the Iran war, the tariffs, the Reflecting Pool, or his tweets. No. It was all the authoritarian overreach that was Trump's true operating philosophy, powered by Project 2025, that led to this epic, glorious orange crush. Now we undo it and never go back.
