The Embassy of India, Copenhagen, congratulates Saanvi Mehta, a 17-year-old Indian student at Niels Brock Det Internationale Gymnasium, who was selected to be part of a group of 100 youth from across Denmark to participate in the Youth Summit 2026. Saanvi was selected through a rigorous process organised by ATU (Akademiet for Talentfulde Unge), a Danish programme that supports academically talented young students. As part of the Summit, Saanvi visited Christiansborg, the Danish Parliament, on 24 August 2026, where she spent the day working alongside talented young peers to draft regulations and policy recommendations for the Danish Parliament and the European Union. Embassy wishes Saanvi Mehta continued success in her academic journey and future endeavours.

Ambassador @ManishPrabhat06 and his spouse Ms. Ruchi Narain were invited to inaugurate the Diwali celebrations organized at Reffen. They lighted the traditional ceremonial lamp. Mr. Jesper Julian Møller, Chef and Founder of Reffen, along with Mr. Atamjit Singh and Ms. Gurminder Kaur, India Bites joined Ambassador and his spouse in the inauguration. On 15 October, Amb @ManishPrabhat06 inaugurated the new Ambassador Lounge in Ambassador Restaurant, one of the prominent Indian restaurants of Copenhagen. Amb, Mr. Raman Arora and Mr. Simran Arora, owners of Aura Dinings also discussed ideas for promoting and giving wider publicity to Indian cuisine in Denmark. The special and elaborate menu added to the memorable occasion. Amb conveyed his best wishes to the Ambassador group in all their activities to promote and popularise traditional as well as contemporary Indian cuisine in Denmark.
