However, the vast empire of the Jadhavarayas wouldn't falter away like a deck of cards. The various 96k clans prepare for independence & overhaul. New states rose, while Jadhavrayas themselves began recouping. • Konkan • Goa • Kampili • Mumbai-Mahim • Baglana • Rayadurga

However, the resistance didn't die. Maharaja Govindadevaraya would lead frequent outbursts right till 1370. Even then, the Jadhavrao house, albeit reduced to a rump state, continued to wield immense influence. Two great luminaries arose out of it – Lakshmanasimha and DHANAJI…

Maharaja Harapaldevaraya then faced Qutb-ud-din Mubarak and his full might. The Mard Maratha was caught on the open plains, and heroically charged 2-3 times against his enemies before melting away. He was captured, brought before the Sultan and executed in the most brutal way.

From 1316 – 1318, we have continuous warfare with the SUCCESFUL rebellion of Maharaja Harapaldevaraya, who had "flayed Deccan to arms & expelled Muslim governors", which caused Ala-ud-din to "bite his own flesh in agony". However, he could do little about it in his own lifetime.

The Jadhavraos are again reduced to vassalage but Ala-ud-din restores them their state, pledges as a son to Ramachandradevaraya (even berating his own generals for some mistreatment) & showers other favours. Thus, Jadhavrayas secure their vast kingdom from further destruction.

Let's go through a brief timeline : 1296 — First raid, Ala-ud-din initially faces stiff resistance from Mahamandaleshwar Kanha, then besieges Devagiri (denuded of most of its troops), imposing a indemnity and retreats, only to be assailed & almost crushed by Yuvaraja Simhāna.
" In a land where women do not cower from sword-wielding opponents, how can I begin to imagine what the Hindu men of this land might unleash upon us in battle! " 🔥 ⚔️ Kānhadeva, the governor of Lajura (Lasura?) was the first to oppose the advance of Khīljis. A glorious war…

It was far from the easiest win (that would be Malwa or Gujarat). Devagiri ranks with Mongols, Ranthambore etc. where Khīljis had to engage several times before a final victory. Even then it was not decisive, as Ala-ud-din couldn't keep the Yadavarayas subdued in his lifetime.
Nothing changes the fact that Devagiri was one of the easiest win for Alauddin in his illustrious military career and the Yadavas were his most loyal vassal who helped him in subjugating other Hindu kingdoms in south. When Alauddin raided Devagiri in 1296, the situation was grave for him as one failure could have led in his imprisonment as he went without notifying the emperor about his plans. Despite leading his forces into an unknown territory against a formidable enemy such as Yadavas who were strategically incompetent as they didn't had the idea about a massive army coming from North, Alauddin didn't loose his nerves even when Prince simhana returned back to his capital, Alauddin was able to defeat him in his own land against all odds. Also, for all it's mammoth appearance, Kishori Sharan Lal notes that the fortifications of the Devagiri were weak due to the carelessness of the Yadavas and king Ramchandra didn't had enough provisions to held out against Alauddin's force. Subsequently, Malik Kafurs also easily captured the fort again and it was the first major centre down south which got subsumed into direct control of delhi sultanate easily and gave birth to an independent muslim sultanate later.

Dharma needs rakshan at all costs. Picking the 🗡️ at the critical moment is far more worthy than perishing ingloriously. A Brahmin (Bajirao) saved a Kshatriya (Chhatrasal Bundela) when the time called for. जग द्वै उपजे ब्राह्मण, भृगु औ बाजीराव। उन ढाई रजपुतियां, इन ढाई तुरकाव॥
When would V1 realize that Shunga or Bajirao were not the ideal V1, never were. Have pride in your svadharma, taking up paradharma is in the dire situation. What is this obsession with copying the V2. After a point it is just hidden inferiority complex.

This is just bullshit. Spend some time talking to actual Israelis or Jews. Israelis view India more favorably than almost every country in the world according to polling. They’re literally building a statue of Chattrapati Shivaji in Israel.
This is a very general view of Indians by the Israelis. There should be a case study on Indian subservience to Israel out of nowhere. They hate us. Ridicule us. But still enjoy the largest external support besides the US from India. 🤷
