In today's Whitehouse on a Halloween party we a kid wearing a russian military uniform with a modern russian tank forces patch featuring Armata tank. This is a carefully crafted political message by someone in Trump's inner circle. This isn't a coincidence. Troops wearing this patch are currently pillaging and raping Ukrainian children, while their supporters and enablers sends their kids to celebrate Halloween with the USA president.

The stand off around Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal is about restoring rule of law to an institution which had been politicised by the populist government which lost power in the election of 2023. Its president repeatedly broke the law by steering politically sensitive cases to hand-picked judges. It failed to pass its own budget,

🇪🇪 ✊ Estonian Prime Minister refuses to tone down his rhetoric toward Russians: “I’m not going to hold back” “Putin is a dictator who kills women and children. And he will continue to do so until he is forced to change course,” Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal said. Speaking to Delfi, he said he had received no direct requests from the US to soften his rhetoric. The politician added: “Appeasing dictators only leads to humiliation, and freedom will ultimately be lost anyway.”
🇺🇸 The US has urged the Baltic states to “keep it down” and stop making harsh statements about Russia. Wait, what? Reuters reports, citing sources, that US officials have approached Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in recent weeks. Washington believes that strong rhetoric about the Russian threat could escalate tensions and undermine European security. Among the remarks that reportedly caught Washington's attention was a claim by European leaders that Russia has been “cornered like a rat” by its war against Ukraine and is resorting to increasingly desperate measures. Apparently, they've been asked not to say things like that anymore.

🇩🇰 Danish PM criticizes Finnish and Norwegian leaders over Putin phone call: “I don't understand what they hope to achieve” “I am very skeptical of this independent initiative by Norway and Finland. It was not coordinated with the rest of us. I really don't understand what these two countries think they can achieve this way,” Mette Frederiksen told Denmark's TV 2. According to Frederiksen, European countries should act together rather than hold separate talks with Moscow. However, there's an important detail: the call with Putin was coordinated with Ukraine. Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre had previously emphasized that they were speaking on behalf of their own countries, not Europe as a whole.
‼️ JUST IN: Finland's president and Norway's prime minister held a phone call with Putin The talks were held in consultation with Ukraine, according to the Finnish president's office. The main goal was to convey the two countries' positions directly to Putin on ending the war and future peace negotiations. The call was also linked to upcoming meetings in Abu Dhabi. “The discussion was frank and substantive. We are neighbouring countries to Russia. The outcome of this war will have a direct impact on our and the broader European security. Ending the war requires direct discussions,” Finnish President Alexander Stubb said. The leaders of Finland and Norway emphasized that they would continue supporting Ukraine and called for peace negotiations to resume. Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre also clarified that they were speaking on behalf of their respective countries, not Europe as a whole.

ELON!
Well, let’s just say this is not a humanitarian act. NO! It certainly isn’t. Attacking ambulances is more than just a war crime. ELON! The drone operator is NOT some poor lad forced into combat; what you’re saying is just an excuse on your part.

“Dear Italian students, who today take to the streets carrying flags with the hammer and sickle and wearing T-shirts emblazoned with ‘CCCP’,” began an open letter in Italian by Lithuanian expat Neringa Budryt. “I would like to ask you a question: do you truly know what the symbols you carry represent? And do you know what would have happened to many of you had you openly demonstrated in countries living under the oppression of communist regimes? Let me tell you something. It is easy to display a red flag when, for you, communism is merely an abstract idea of equality, social justice, and rebellion against the system. It is easy to wear a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it when you have never experienced the reality of a communist regime. We come from that part of Europe where communism was not a T-shirt, a symbol of rebellion, or a romanticized notion of equality. It was the system in which we lived—a system we never chose. We know the history of Soviet repression, Stalinist purges, the Gulags, and mass deportations. Above all, we know the word "Siberia"—a place to which thousands of innocent people were forcibly deported, simply for thinking differently. In Siberia—amidst freezing cold, starvation, and forced labor—many lost their lives; those who survived carried the scars of that experience forever. Entire families were torn apart, and generations were denied the chance to live freely in their own homeland. In the countries of the Soviet bloc, censorship, political police, surveillance, and the suppression of dissent drastically curtailed individual freedoms. We grew up in a system where state control permeated even our daily lives. At school, we were required to wear the red necktie of the "Pioneers." We were monitored; they tracked where we went and even whether we attended church. Even faith—a choice that should belong to an individual’s own conscience—could become a cause for suspicion. We used to celebrate Christmas with our windows blacked out, to ensure no one would see us and report us. Because it was forbidden—just like so many other things: jeans, rock music, and all the symbols of a Western lifestyle. My mother returned from a Soviet labor camp. And do you know what happened to her? She was barred from continuing her education because she had been labeled an enemy of communism. Under a communist regime, you could not protest. You risked arrest, imprisonment, interrogation, persecution—and, in certain historical contexts, even death. In the Soviet Union and other communist regimes, political dissent could cost you your freedom and your life. Demonstrations independent of the authorities were not a guaranteed right; they were often suppressed by force. That is why it strikes me to see young Italians proudly displaying the hammer and sickle—symbols associated with regimes that persecuted and imprisoned millions of people. Today, you are free to take to the streets, shout against the government, criticize institutions, and wave your flags precisely because you live in a democracy that grants you these freedoms. Under an authoritarian regime of that kind, protesting against those in power could have landed you in prison. This is not about denying the existence of social injustices, inequalities, or the right to fight for a better world. You are free to take to the streets to demand a more just society—but you should not idealize a system that denied so many people the very things you are free to exercise today: the right to choose, to believe, to speak, and to dissent. Before wearing a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it, listen to those who experienced that world. Talk to the deportees and their descendants; read the accounts of those who endured the gulags and forced exile to Siberia. Learn what it meant to be stripped of your freedom, your home, your loved ones—and even any prospect of a normal life—simply because of your background or your beliefs. Before waving the hammer and sickle, please, study history thoroughly.”

Imagine a Belarusian tourist arriving in Paris, seeing thousands of people protesting against their government, and discovering that they're actually allowed to go home afterwards 🤣 amd they are not disappearing in some prison.
⚠️ TRAVEL ADVISORY: Deteriorating security situation in several European countries In light of escalating unrest and mass protests, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus strongly advises Belarusian citizens against non-essential travel to France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Albania, and recommends postponing or canceling such trips if possible.

Students informed international observers: “We have reliable information that the SNS plans to mobilize people around 9 p.m., potentially to provoke clashes. The students are aware of the situation and intend to avoid any confrontation, especially since they have achieved a result that should be recognized, regardless of whether Vučić acknowledges it. We ask you to share this message with your international contacts: the students have no interest in violence or confrontation. They have achieved a result that needs to be defended, and their priority is to preserve it through peaceful means. It is important that international partners be aware of the risk of provocation tonight and understand that any escalation must not automatically be attributed to the students.” Source @IstragaB
