Matthew 4:10 (KJV)
“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
Jesus is quoting Deuteronomy 6:13.
In Hebrew (Deuteronomy 6:13)
אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ תִּירָא וְאֹתוֹ תַעֲבֹד
Et-Adonai Elohekha tira, ve'oto ta'avod.
Word by word:
יְהוָה (Adonai) — The LORD
אֱלֹהֶיךָ (Elohekha) — Your God
תִּירָא (Tira) — You shall fear or revere
וְאֹתוֹ (Ve'oto) — And Him
תַעֲבֹד (Ta'avod) — You shall serve
Notice something interesting: Deuteronomy says to fear (revere) the LORD, while Jesus' response in Matthew emphasizes worship.
The central message is that worship and ultimate allegiance belong to God alone.
This was Jesus' answer when Satan offered Him all the kingdoms of the world in exchange for worship.

Raging bigots will tell you Palestinians can't vote in Israeli elections, while ignoring that Palestinian citizens of Israel can and do vote.
They'll omit that Palestinians who aren't Israeli citizens have their own political leaders (the Palestinian Authority and Hamas), who have failed to hold national elections for two decades.
They'll tell you any Jew from anywhere can simply show up in Israel and vote. Apparently, Assal is wildly ignorant of how citizenship works and doesn't have access to a search engine.
They'll declare that most Israelis support genocide, apartheid, and land theft without providing a shred of evidence for that accusation (because it doesn't exist).
And they'll definitely ignore that Arab Israelis came out in droves to vote and may well play a role in determining Israel's next government.
But then I'm guessing Assal knows the facts and is hoping she can get away with the lies.
They’ll tell you it’s not apartheid because Arab Israelis can vote, while 5+ million Palestinians under Israeli occupation are denied equal rights.
They’ll tell you it’s a democracy because Jews from around the world can go to Israel and vote, while millions of Palestinians are denied the right to return to their homes.
They’ll tell you the future of Israel is at stake, while they deny a future for Palestine.
They’ll tell you the problem is Netanyahu, while the majority of Israelis support genocide, apartheid, and land theft.
They’ll tell you the problem is Palestinians, while ignoring the decades-long occupation that brutalizes them.
They tell you lies.

Israel needs to stop using the European government model. This is insane.
The first exit polls are out, and the winner of the 2026 Israeli election appears to be the Arabs. As most major polls predicted, no bloc has a definitive majority. Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud is the largest party in every exit poll, but what comes next remains an open question.
A breakdown of what we know now.

Interestingly, japanese was the only language where it was awkward to say "have a nice day" because no Japanese would say it like that in literal translation. Telling someone to have a nice day simply does not exist in japanese culture or language. Ganbatte as written above means "do your best" or something close to it.
Hebrew and Korean similarity. In Hebrew, there is a letter for M sound, which is written as ם. In Korean, the same sound is written as ㅁ. They look almost identical.
Interesting Herbew words. Water is called Mayim. Heaven or sky is called Shamayim.
There is a traditional Jewish interpretation connecting shamayim with אֵשׁ (esh), meaning fire, and mayim, meaning water — suggesting the heavens combine fire and water.
However, this is a traditional word interpretation, not an established linguistic etymology.

Matthew 21:28-32
The Parable of the Two Sons
[28] “What do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ [29] And he answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went.
[30] And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but did not go. [31] Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.
[32] For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him.

Apartheid?
This is Mansour Abbas, voting today with his wife in Israel's elections. He is an Arab citizen and a member of Knesset, and he leads a party that sat in Israel's government. Keep this picture in mind the next time someone calls Israel an "apartheid state."
Abbas is running on "change." The West calls him a moderate and a pragmatist. So let's ask what those words mean.
"Moderate" Palestinian pragmatists say they have already compromised by acknowledging that Israel exists. Now they want an Israeli leadership ready for "change," meaning ready to compromise in return. And the compromise they expect is recognition of the Muslims' exclusive right to the entire Temple Mount compound.
That is no small concession. The Temple Mount is where the First and Second Temples stood, before layers of history, including Islamic history, were built on top of them. It is the heart of the Jewish people's biblical, historical and archaeological bond to this land, and after 1967 Israel uncovered abundant evidence of that bond. Today the UN calls the site "occupied territory." From 1948 to 1967 Jordan ruled it, and no one called that occupation, even though Jews were barred from the Old City and the Western Wall for nineteen years.
The Temple was called a house of prayer for all peoples. Today Jerusalem is open to every faith, and ironically the only people restricted from praying on the Temple Mount are Jews. Still, the "moderates" demand total Muslim exclusivity.
In April 2025, during Passover, "moderate" Mansour Abbas shared the statement below from his party, the United Arab List, and its parent body, the Islamic Movement. It condemns an Israeli lawmaker for "storming" Al-Aqsa, and his offense was praying on the Temple Mount. It calls the record number of Jewish visitors that Passover "intruders." It accuses the police of protecting these "incursions" and warns of a religious explosion with dire consequences. It declares the site the exclusive right of Muslims alone, every grain of its soil, every courtyard and plaza. And it calls on Arab citizens of Israel and on Jerusalemites to flock to Al-Aqsa "in the face of all conspiracies."
Strip away the pious wording and you'll recognize the script. Jews are "storming," the holy site is in danger, the faithful must mobilize. Hamas named its October 7 massacre "Al-Aqsa Flood."
Asking Israel to surrender its holiest site is asking it to surrender its claim to the land, its very right to exist. That is not a two-state compromise. It is a one-faith claim.
This is what "change" means.
Which other country lets a man who rejects its very foundations sit in its parliament, or serve in its government?
Again: apartheid?

Regarding the Israeli Air Force keeping its F-35s at a 90% readiness rate vs USAF at 50%-
Israel didn’t just buy the jets, but built a massive logistical complex for keeping them maintained and in service, including making a lot of their own components.
When people talk about the strengths of the Israeli Air Force, they talk about planes, pilot training, electronic warfare, but what most people miss are the absolute lions that are humble Israeli aircraft mechanic and ordnancemen.
In the six day war, Israeli aircraft could land and be refueled and rearmed ready to get back in the fight in eight minutes.
In the Yom Kippur war, Israeli aircraft had double the readiness rate of their Arab enemies, despite MiGs being much easier jets to service and maintain.
