I see you are a trans woman using an ableist slur. I fear you aren't as great of a person as you think you are 🩷

Are you transmed by any chance?

She is a trans woman??? It's not about all trans women. You're the asshole here, and the transphobic woman shitting on the minority of trans women who actually like their facial hair. Her name is Alex Drummond, and she is an artist and psychotherapist.

They still deserve representation and respect too actually

Even if there's trans woman with beards, like i can say for sure that they are a very very tiny group, it makes no sense to show that has something comun

I'm non binary, and I think it's very strange that a lot of people are shitting on the minority who does feel represented.

Non binaries too!!

I disagree with everyone on here saying you can't depict transfemme people with beards or you can't be transfemme with a beard You are so deeply wrong you've totally missed the point of being queer I'd rather be called a tranny irl than listen to y'all being so confident & wrong

Wasn't this a depiction of a non binary person who uses she/her pronouns. Like it seems obvious that's what was trying to be depicted in the image, not a trans woman. Since like the point of the image was pronouns ≠ gender?
Getting really tired of people who don't have to deal with transmisogyny unironically doing "transmisogyny but woke"™

One of my best friends, Lumi, was there during the whole lion debate, and had said to me that she loves seeing trans women depicted with beards in a non-harmful way because she feels represented.

Mind you the point of the thing is that you can't always tell someone's pronouns based on looks. Like, y'know, acknowledging that trans people (binary and non) exist who may not be gender conforming. Idk why everyone is shitting themselves over a she/her with facial hair or a -

Why do they always think it's about them ??? This is literally bean soup theory. "But I don't like beards" Some people do.

Queer people: Being queer is all about breaking societies boundaries! Break out of under binary and be yourself Also queer people: HERE IS AN EXTENSIVE LIST OF RULES YOU MUST FOLLOW WHEN DEPECTING TRANS PEOPLE Whatever I know trans femme with beards let em get rep
Stop depicting trans women with beards. That is not how we look nor is it how we WANT to look. We are not drag queens. We are not crossdressers. We are not femboys. Do y'all ever depict cis women with beards? No? I wonder why only trans women get this treatment from "allies."

It's not a post about you. It's about She/Her people who are okay with facial hair.

It's not specific to you because it's not just a trans woman depicted, it's a person who uses She/Her pronouns who is comfortable with facial hair.

Not a trans woman here, but there are multiple examples of trans women who do keep their beards. This diva for example:

I'm not even dictating anything. If someone is being harmful to you, yes you can be upset about it! The problem is, they aren't depicting you specifically.
