On this 10th anniversary of Titanfall 2, we want to take a moment to honor Vince Zampella, the CEO / co-founder of Respawn Entertainment.
Vince tragically passed away at the end of 2025, less than 2 weeks after TGA.

I liked FBC Firebreak, it was a really fun co-op shooter that I felt was a fun spinoff of Control.
I still think it’s worth playing if you’ve got 2 friends to do it with!
Battlefield 7 needs to bring back this aura. It’s the one thing I think BF6 lacks the most, despite how much I enjoy it.

As I replay it, Control may be retroactively my GOTY of 2019.
When I first played it, the writing and art direction didn’t really click with me. I had vastly preferred Jedi Fallen Order and Gears 5 that year.
I’m deeply appreciating the writing and weirdness of it all now. Interesting how you appreciate art differently as you age.
I’ve been replaying Control this weekend in preparation for Resonant (hopefully this upcoming weekend), this time on PC.
What a magnificent game. I still prefer Alan Wake 2’s vibes but this is an all timer.
