Peter Obi: Governor of Anambra by day, Director of a London company by night.
UK Companies House records show he stayed listed as a director of Next International (UK) Limited until May 2008, two full years after becoming governor. Section 6 of the Code of Conduct Act bars full-time public officers from running private businesses. The man who preaches transparency and integrity couldn’t even update his own company filings on time.
Who was he really serving?
Atiku Abubakar’s record deserves scrutiny, not selective amnesia.
While serving in uniform and entrusted with guarding the nation’s interests at Apapa Port, questions remain about his involvement in private port and logistics businesses.
Public service should be about protecting national interests, not creating opportunities for private gain. Nigerians deserve answers, not another opportunity to recycle the old ways.
Is this the kind of leadership we want to return to in 2027?

President Tinubu took the tough decisions most people avoided.
The foundation is now set, reserves above $40 billion, inflation easing, minimum wage raised to ₦70,000, and student loans reaching thousands of undergraduates.
The hard part is done. The work isn’t finished, but the results are starting to show.

Peter Obi neglected the duty to provide basic amenities to the people of Anambra as Governor, and channelled $12.24 million into shares in a brewery. Today, that investment is worth less than half its original value.
No dividends of democracy for the people, no returns for the state.
