Jetour, the full story of the Chinese brand most people can't name. How it took on Japan on Dubai's roads. The parts it buys instead of builds. The price gap the legacy brands left open. The trust play: one distributor, a 10-year engine warranty.

Khadija Bunny Shaw. This legend has jumped to heights many have failed to reach. Third place finish at the 2026 Ballon d’Or and the first-ever Jamaican to finish on the podium. The highest-ever ranked Afro-Caribbean player in award’s history. One of one.

How quick you lot forget. Arteta has been angry at so many players before Pepe, Partey, Xhaka , Maitland-Niles. Dowman is a 16 year child who reacted exactly how a child would react to a dangerous tackle that could’ve broken his leg. He’ll learn from it and he’ll be fine
I’ve never see Arteta this mad at his player

🚨 Mikel Arteta reveals what he told Max Dowman after his red card against Fleetwood Town: 🎙️ Interviewer: “Mikel, cameras caught you speaking furiously to Max Dowman as he headed down the tunnel after his red card. What did you say to him? Mikel Arteta: “I was furious. I’m not going to stand here and pretend otherwise. We have just been eliminated from the Carabao Cup by a League Two side sitting 18th in their division, and when you play for Arsenal, you have to understand the responsibility that comes with that shirt” “I told Max, ‘Look at me. I understand that the player kicked you. I understand that you were angry, and I understand that you felt you needed to react. But you cannot allow another player to decide your actions for you!’ “Do you know what hurts me most? He is a young player with incredible talent, and we are trying to help him grow. But tonight, he gave the opposition exactly what they wanted. They provoked him, he reacted, and suddenly we are talking about his red card instead of what this team was supposed to achieve” “I told him, ‘Max, you can be angry. You can feel disrespected. You can believe the referee should have protected you better. But you cannot lose control. Not here. Not in this shirt. Not when your teammates are depending on you!’ “And yes, I was harsh with him. He needed to understand how serious this was. His actions hurt the team, and we cannot simply brush that aside because he is young. Being young gives you room to learn, but it does not mean there are no consequences. “But let me make one thing clear: I will not abandon a young player because he has made a mistake. I will challenge him, I will demand more from him, and I will help him become better. Max has a future, but talent alone will not protect him from difficult nights like this. “Tonight should hurt. It should hurt every one of us. We have to look at ourselves, accept the consequences and make sure we never put ourselves in this position again.”

If you are riding Elizabeth line today, remember us who built it. Also remember Renè Tkáčik the Slovakian concrete sprayer who died in the line of duty. 🫶🙏

East Africa’s other major slaver and trader. Rumaliza. While not as infamous as Tippu Tip, He was especially known for his brutality. His specialisation was ordering the castration of captured men and boys so they could be sold as eunuchs. If you have watched Game of Thrones, his parallel are the Masters of Astapor. They are the ones who castrated people like Greyworm and the other Unsullied Oral and written accounts from the Uele, Aruwimi, Tshuapa, Maniema and Kisangani regions ( places far apart) repeatedly linked him and his parties to cutting off men’s genitals, amputating limbs, piercing noses and ears, burning villages, and killings. The practice of castrating some male captives for the Indian Ocean eunuch market (harem guards and palace servants) was part of the wider East African slave trade; survival rates after the operation were often low. His real name was Muhammad bin Khalfan bin Khamis al-Barwani. He was born around 1850–55 in Lindi on the Tanzanian coast, he was an Omani-Swahili trader of the Barwani family. He learned the business under Tippu Tip and, with Tippu Tip’s backing, rose to dominate the trade at Ujiji on Lake Tanganyika by the early 1880s. From there he controlled routes into the eastern Congo, launched raids up the Ruzizi valley toward Lake Kivu, and maintained armed posts along the northeastern shore of the lake. His nickname, Rumaliza, loosely means “the finisher” or “the terminator” in Swahili. Like Tippu Tip, he mixed commerce with force, using Magwangwara auxiliaries and other followers to secure ivory and captives. When Belgian forces under Francis Dhanis pushed east during the Congo-Arab War, Rumaliza was defeated in January 1894 and fled. He later pursued property claims in German East Africa related to Tippu Tip’s estate. Unlike Tippu Tip, who ended up as a governor under Leopold II and retired wealthy in Zanzibar, Rumaliza’s power collapsed more abruptly under direct colonial pressure.

Power may diffuse toward resilient high-latitude nations gaining agricultural and stability edges. Superpowers face rising domestic adaptation costs, migration pressures, and resource contests that could dilute external influence and foster multipolar competition over food, land, and climate security.

Best: Norway, Finland, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand. Higher latitudes see milder winters and expanded farming; strong economies and infrastructure enable adaptation (top ND-GAIN ranks). Worst: Chad, Central African Republic, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Somalia. Extreme heat, droughts, floods and sea-level rise hit hardest with limited resources to cope.
