🚨🚨🚨 Don’t miss my piece below on the competition between Delaware and Texas for businesses. @GregAbbott_TX @MattMeyerDE @InsideSourcesDC
"Delaware became America’s corporate capital because it offered something businesses valued. Texas is now challenging it by offering another choice. Delaware has already responded with corporate-law reforms." -- @VanceGinn dcjournal.com/delawares-texa…

A $50-a-month GLP-1 sounds like a deal for everyone. It covers Medicare patients who meet a BMI threshold, with taxpayers paying the remaining $245. Employer plans and most Medicaid plans are left out. @JayJGoldberg in @InsideSourcesDC dcjournal.com/the-big-proble…

One thing I don’t think we’re talking about enough with the EFTC is what it could do for local economies. I wrote about that for @InsideSourcesDC; link in comments. The EFTC could generate at least $24 billion a year in new education funding - but the real scale of the opportunity reaches well into the hundreds of billions. Closer to home, this will do hugely exciting things for local economies. The math is simple: if just 10 million taxpayers use the full $1,700 credit, that’s $17 billion a year flowing into K–12 scholarships. At 50 million taxpayers, it’s $85 billion. At 100 million, it’s $170 billion. For perspective, the IRS received about 165.8 million individual income-tax returns in 2025. And what happens when 20 or 30 families in one community suddenly have scholarship dollars to spend on tutoring, learning specialists, therapies, technology, and other educational services? Very excited to have this one out today. #educationfreedomtaxcredit #SchoolChoice #k12education #EducationFunding #smallbusinessmarketing #localeconomy #mainstreet
