It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.

Which is sad, but hopeful in some ways.
Because when I think about who came before... Dorchen, Jorgensen, Wendy Carlos... I'm not sad for what they overcame.

Honestly, I'm just glad at least one news network let a trans person talk about the attacks against the transgender community.
So many people are talking about us while a major presidential candidate has made us target #1 and yet so few allow us to speak.
From Oct. 7 to Oct. 20, former President Donald Trump’s campaign and pro-Trump groups spent an estimated $95 million on ads, more than 41 percent of which were anti-trans.

I am asking again that if you are an ally to the trans community or trans yourself… please avoid giving stories to the New York Times.
They are not credible on trans care and routinely deny trans journalists the kind of space they give cis ones to attack our care dishonestly.

The chief problem with this assumption is, of course, the idea that we will continue to have free and fair elections with a second Trump presidency.
I have problems with the Democratic Party moving right, but it's the former that keeps me up at night.
Some argue that a second Trump election -- while bad for the country in the short-term -- would make the Democratic Party more progressive in the long run.
Many problems with that view. But one is that - if Harris loses - the Dems will probably move right

They are forcibly medically detransitioning trans youth in the United Kingdom and threatening to send the parents to safeguarding (CPS) referrals:
So, my GP practice has threatened to report me as a safeguarding concern for supporting my almost 18 year old daughters gender affirming healthcare.
After 4 years of being on her meds, having a female gendered passport, and is well into her female puberty journey, they insist on leaving her stranded.
It’s cruelty, discrimination and abuse of someone that doesn’t currently have MH issues, but soon will.

A federal judge just ruled in Pennsylvania that LGBTQ+ topics, and books with trans characters, cannot be taught without parental permission/opt out.
He ruled in favor of this by comparing trans people to dogs and dissected frogs, which also require opt out, he says.

Israel’s pager attack in Lebanon detonated thousands of handheld devices across of a slew of public spaces, seriously injuring and killing innocent civilians.
This attack clearly and unequivocally violates international humanitarian law and undermines US efforts to prevent a wider conflict.
Congress needs a full accounting of the attack, including an answer from the State Department as to whether any US assistance went into the development or deployment of this technology.
