If you can do one thing to support our work in Ukraine today, make it a tourniquet.
Our field team and the Ukrainian organizations and units we work alongside urgently need more. The tourniquet you send could be the one that keeps someone alive.

IGR began taking shape in a village in Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, not long after the counteroffensive.
Working there, we saw how much a small team could accomplish, and how much work remained.
That experience helped turn the idea of IGR into an organization. It still shapes how we work today: understand what is needed, put our skills to use, and build a team that can do more.
An unexploded shell can kill long after the fighting has moved on from that area.
Across Ukraine, mines and unexploded ordnance threaten people living and working in places already scarred by war. Those hazards remain dangerous until they are found and safely dealt with.
This is the work IGR is committed to. Your support helps us continue it.

IGR’s instructors bring experience from ongoing operational work in Ukraine and around the world into the training they deliver.
During an IMAS EOD course supported by the @OSCE , they helped demining specialists develop practical skills with specialized equipment they use in their own work.
That experience adds depth to the instruction: what equipment can do, where its limitations matter, and how conditions in the field shape decisions. Lessons carried from one operation can help prepare someone else for the next.

Thank you to the bomb disposal operators for this gift. Sharing experience with people who do the same work, building friendships, and helping those who’ll teach the next generation is why I love what I do. I always learn something too.
A big thank you to @MontyEOD2336 for securing a TALON 4 robot for our team in Ukraine.
The robot will support both operations and training, strengthening our capacity for explosive ordnance reconnaissance and remote actions while reducing the need for personnel to approach suspected explosive ordnance.
It will also provide hands-on training in remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operation and its application to EOD tasks, helping the team build proficiency in remote reconnaissance and equipment deployment.
Thank Monty, for making this happen.
Kharkiv is bruised and battered, but it doesn’t quit. Neither do we.
Our blood, sweat, and tears are in this soil. We’ve built our lives and our organization here, alongside people who keep going through everything this war brings.
Kharkiv is home. We’re committed to staying, working alongside our Ukrainian partners, and doing our part until this land is free of mines and unexploded ordnance.
Ukrainians need access to their homes, farmland and essential services while the war continues. Mines and unexploded ordnance make that harder, and more dangerous.
In areas where teams can operate, humanitarian demining removes these hazards and helps restore access. Sustained support enables that work to continue, even as the war creates new needs.
We’re sending a pallet of cold-weather gear, including sleeping bags and boots to Ukrainian Police EOD operators ahead of a hard winter.
Their work continues through the cold. Having the right gear matters when you’re spending long days outside dealing with explosive hazards.
We’re aiming to send supplies riunded up by the team in the US every month or so.
If you’d like to contribute, you can purchase an item from IGR’s Amazon wishlist. It will ship to our U.S. receiving address for onward shipment to Ukraine.

Working alongside other Ukrainian NGOs means sharing knowledge, learning from one another and building the relationships that support an effective response.
These first aid sessions are one part of that work. Each organization brings experience and skills, and working together helps us make better use of both.

For people in Ukraine, explosive hazards can make a journey home, a day’s farming or an aid delivery dangerous.
IGR supports local teams through training and technical support in humanitarian demining, helping build the expertise needed to address those hazards and restore safe access to homes, farmland and essential services.

Landmines and unexploded ordnance put people at risk long before clearance teams can reach every affected area.
In Kharkiv, IGR supports Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE), helping people recognize danger, avoid unsafe actions and understand how to report suspected explosive hazards.
We use a variety of both physical and digital education materials to help explain what people might encounter and what to do if they find something suspicious. The aim is to prevent injuries and help people protect themselves and their families.
