Exactly 9 years ago I’ve pushed first commit on the project that would later become @IonideProject - the best way of working with F#. It has been amazing adventure that changed my life. And I hope it’ll continue for many more years. #fsharp

The info panel feature in @IonideProject is one of the most useful dev tools I have ever used. I have been using it daily since seeing it on Dev Impressions with @k_cieslak a few years ago. Couldn't imagine writing F# without it. Amazing work to all of those who contributed.

Has anyone else noticed that @code now shows actual values inline with #fsharp let bindings after you execute the expression in FSI? This is pretty cool! @dotnet

@IonideProject is it you who's syntax-highlighting embedded markdown in #fsharp fsx comments starting with (** ? If so: 😘- I find it really helpful. Thanks!

Hey #dotnet #fsharp! Over the weekend we released FsAutocomplete 0.59.6 and Ionide 7.5.3! There are many great changes you can read in the Release sections but one I want to mention we've turned on the Adaptive LSP Server implementation to be on by default in Ionide.

8 years and counting! Exactly 8 years ago, I pushed first commit on the project that would become @IonideProject I'd have never imagined something started due to a random Twitter conversation with @tomaspetricek would become one of the most important parts of #fsharp ecosystem

Today @IonideProject 7.3.0 released with a feature I'm excited to talk about. @Jimmy_Byrd has spent the last few weeks iterating on a new 'adaptive' version of the LSP Server that powers #fsharp in VSCode! Set `Fsharp.enableAdaptiveLspServer` to true to try it!

I used to think that inlay hints are verbose and they make code aligning pretty hard for languages like #fsharp. But they are pretty useful when you can see them on demand, and it is possible with the new release of vscode! code.visualstudio.com/update… #ionide #vscode

There's a new major version release of @IonideProject for #fsharp on #dotnet! 6.0.0 is special for a few reasons, but first and foremost is that this version is the first that _requires_ .NET 6 in order to work. Timely, because .NET 5 is going out of support on May 8th!
