Lucky to see Finkbine yesterday. Iowa golf is getting a big boost. North end of the property was the biggest surprise. Going to be a great walk. Going to be one of the best in the state. @HoffmanSl Keep building them.

Lots of questions being asked where the controversy is with the 2026 4A Iowa Boys State Golf meet. This would sum it up.
The left photo are results from the 2026 State District Qualifier. The right photo are results from the 2026 State Meet. After the District Qualifier there were several questioning the CBAL scores.
To my knowledge there were no allegations onsite the day of the District meet. CBAL was likely paired with the lower seeded teams at Districts therefore fewer eyes on the players that day, hence the questions. There are also questions on the drastic season over season improvement from CBAL.
CBAL just had a great day at Districts and buckled at the social media pressure at State? Possible. Either way, probably a good time to talk about scorekeepers with groups at State Qualifier meets moving forward.

Hey @ClippdGolf, @iWanamaker, @GolfGenius, @ Kodiak Golf. Who wants to be part of a potential statewide initiative in Iowa for high school golf?
This post is not implying ANYTHING for Spring 2027 or Fall 2027.
Let’s go! Hit me up in email. Email is public. ⛳️🐉

Wanted to S/O the Pleasant Valley team, parents, fans, DCC members for some amazing hospitality this past week. Really good people who went above and beyond to make it a special experience!
Davenport Country Club is UNBELIEVABLE! If you ever get an opportunity to set foot on that property, don’t pass it up!
Thank you all for an amazing week in the QC!
