3️⃣ This year’s TypeLab has actually *expanded* in scope to become a 72-hour online event through all of June 18, 19, and 20. Planning such an event around the globe is tricky, but it fits right in with the experimental spirit of TypeLab.

A celebrated designer telling an interviewer “I’m not sure you can teach creativity: you have that eye or sensibility, or you don’t” is actually not far from a moronic claim that poor people are stupid for not getting higher paying jobs.
This gem.
A week later, still processing @TheNational's breathtaking performance at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Soaking wet Matt Berninger held my hand and told me it was all gonna be alright, how would you not believe him.
Just almost had a heart attack seeing 51–49% “optical” vs “metric” poll. It’s like 2016 all over again. Adobe, what did you do to us?!
Made it through my first #Typecon talk. Time to kick back and design more type. Thanks so much to SoTA for offering me to participate, and a huge thank you to everyone who listened!

It's a little outrageous to have your work put next to Milton Glaser's. Thank you nevertheless, Thames & Hudson! nitter.gq/thamesandhudson/status…
