That is what any reasonable person wants. Legal migration, background checks, qualifications, quality of person etc. It is the very least we deserve. I don’t care what colour anyone is after that.

Ireland has a 25-year plan called Project Ireland 2040 which comprises the National Planning Framework and the National Development Plan.
It includes ESRI projections for a population in excess of 6 million, yet Ireland’s fertility rate is in decline for 50 years and is currently below the replacement rate. There is no policy objective to address the fertility decline. The increased population will not be home-grown.
The ambition of Project Ireland 2040 is not to improve the lot of Irish people. The ambition is to grow Ireland into a UN-approved, multi-cultural globalist fiefdom.
Part One of a new four-part series is linked below.

Would you let your 16-year-old daughter walk around a market in Nigeria, Morocco or Tunisia on her own?
No. Nobody would. Not even the most open-border liberal.
So why can't we have that same honest conversation at home?
I do not consent to this person, who will certainly be a criminal, becoming an Irish citizen. There are rules for that kind of thing we were reassured.
Longford Court "Sentencing adjourned as Irish citizenship imminent." Longford District Court, has for the second time, granted Mauricio Coutinho Oliveira, who lives at Curreen View, Ballyclare, Lanesboro, an “adjournment before his sentencing” while he awaits Irish citizenship. A Portuguese interpreter was in court for the proceedings. Alleged insurance offences

Every county council will vote on its 2027 budget in the next few weeks.
In August I asked the Department to release 14 years of those budgets in excel format. They did. Here's what it shows about how central government funds local authorities and where Galway County sits.

“Drifting to the populist right”Will ye catch yourselves on.
You describe ordinary people who’ve had ENOUGH, who demand affordable homes, strong borders, safe streets, deportations, law and order and a government that listens. Perfectly reasonable demands.
No warning label required.
@fiannafailparty @FineGael
A growing volume of voters who don’t like the government are drifting to the populist right instead, creating a new front in Ireland’s political fragmentation.

“Those most in need” won’t cut it @fiannafail
Who will qualify? who will decide? will working households struggling with bills get help, or just the privilege of funding it? Publish the criteria, the costs and who carries it. “Trust us” 😏
That bridge been well burned 🔥

Under India's Immigration and Foreigners Act 2025, overstaying a student visa is a criminal offence under Section 23: up to 3 years imprisonment, fine up to ₹3 lakh, or both. It can usually be compounded via FRRO with scaled fees (₹10k–₹3 lakh) plus an exit permit. Student visas prohibit paid work or performances outside studies. Public mockery or activities outside visa conditions often trigger investigation, leave-India orders, detention, deportation and re-entry bans, as seen in multiple overstay and activism cases.

Who benefits? Who pays? Who decides?
And when a campaign says supporters’ personal details are seen only by “the people running the campaign”, there’s another fairly obvious question,
WHO ARE THEY?
I went digging again🧵
Ireland is a small country, but good grief, there are a lot of organisations, lobbyists, employers, immigration specialists and campaigners trying to influence how our immigration and citizenship laws develop.
So I started following the names…
My first thought exactly.
