Mathieu Darche on Barzal: “The doctors would be comfortable for him to ramp up whenever he’s ready. So it’s not ‘Oh it’s all him,’ or ‘It’s all us (making the decision).’ We’re trying to work together on this but of course he has a big say. It’s his body. He knows how he feels.”

#Isles GM Mathieu Darche said Mathew Barzal has suffered no setbacks and has not undergone another procedure.
Darche believes the inflammation is under control. The next step is getting Barzal comfortable enough with his strength to return to team practices.
