As promised. I visited the Calabar end of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
This is Akamkpa LG. I had to quickly come here from the Presidential Campaign Rally at UJ Esuene Stadium.
Again, anyone appearing on Arise TV telling you the Highway is only in Lagos, tell them to rinse the lies off their mouth.

Nigeria cannot build a strong automotive industry on imported vehicles and weak institutions.
2: We must build, manufacture and create jobs at home
3: Therefore, the DG @NADDCouncil @oluosanip is proposing a National Automotive Industry Bill, 2026.
-(a): It is a major step towards strengthening local content, component manufacturing, green mobility and investment.
4: The transition from Council to Commission could give the sector stronger regulatory powers and enforcement capacity.
5: Tinubunomics must translate into industrialisation, local production and millions of opportunities for Nigerians.@fmitiofficial @OwanEnoh @joduwole @YeriTheSGF @gabriel_bolatit @FinePopo @obafemigeorge1 @TwinsDavid1 @MasterBolaji @gabriel_bolatit @iamzioraa @femofash @innosonvehicles @nordmotion @9ja_N_Nigerians

Sir Kessington Adebutu's (Baba Ijebu) son, Adebisi Adebutu, has secured $81.9 million in financing to nearly triple porcelain tile production in Nigeria.
Afreximbank has approved the senior term loan for Veenocks Limited, founded by Adebisi Abidemi Adebutu, to support a $145 million expansion of its manufacturing plant in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The investment will increase annual production capacity from 3.3 million to 9.9 million square meters, while creating 300 additional direct jobs on top of the more than 200 employees already working at the facility
The expansion also aims to reduce Nigeria's dependence on imported building materials, increase the use of locally sourced raw materials and position Veenocks as a major supplier to African markets.
Adebisi Adebutu, who heads R28 Holdings, is seeking to build a globally competitive Nigerian manufacturer capable of meeting European quality standards.

Representation is easiest to judge when you step into the community and look around.
In Oju-Ekun Sarumi Ward, residents can point to specific projects delivered by Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya.
There is the roughly 1.2km road from Okelele Secondary School Junction to Adabiyyah Secondary School Junction, which serves the Abayawo community and eases daily movement for residents, students and traders.
In healthcare, solar panels now power the Oju-Ekun Sarumi Health Centre, helping with steady electricity for service delivery.
In education, a digital learning board has been provided at Oju-Ekun Sarumi LGA Primary School, and a digital ClassBoard has been installed at Adabiyyah Secondary School.
Beyond classrooms and clinics, solar-powered boreholes are improving access to clean water, while solar-powered streetlights are lighting up public spaces.
Student scholarships, employment opportunities and empowerment interventions round out the picture.
Roads, schools, health, water, light and opportunity are the everyday needs of any community, and these projects speak to each of them.
Whatever your politics of olden days and backwardness in your party, projects like these can be visited, observed and assessed.
That is how public conversation about representation should work: with names, places and evidence, and not lies being peddle around.
If you live in Oju-Ekun Sarumi, share what you see and how it affects you. The facts are on the ground that Hon. Shagaya projects and footprints are everywhere.
It happened around October last year. Hajia was preparing yam and egg when the guy came with police officers and their korope. I was in the Cell with three other guys who started telling me what brought them there. I left after 2 hours. The officers collected 50k bail 1/2

Over the weekend, I received scores of African Democratic Party (ADC) members into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The defectors were led by a key figure in the Baruten ADC, Hon. Mohammed Sime Kora. Their defection is another testament to the growing confidence our people have in the purposeful and people-centered leadership of our amiable Governor, His Excellency Mallam @RealAARahman, CON.
Together, we will deliver victory for the APC from top to bottom! Íwájú L'a Ń Lọ!

The misinformation we have here is the narrative your people have been pushing as though the strike in LAUTECH was caused by the President.
It is a deliberate attempt to divert attention from the real issue.
That being said, here goes the communique from ASUU warning the state government few weeks ago with full details of what went down between both parties.
Instead of addressing the real issues, your people are moving funny on the TL with well crafted but delusional narratives making this all about the Federal Government and even trying to drag the NELFUND scheme into it😂😂😂.
If the governor will not answer ASUU of the school which is a proper state-owned university, he can as well hand over the institution to Tinubu so he would deal with the issues same way he has dealt with those owned by the FG.
Enough of playing politics with the future of the students!!!
