Hiding public details at the name of secrecy is not good for nation.
We are hopeless that ISRO will share any details of their ongoing/, upcoming missions ... That's why We filing RTIs.
We are just expecting transparency, idk who'll judge them if they become transparent.
A few words from our side, since many have asked why we file RTIs on ISRO missions.
We're a small bunch of space nerds who follow India's space programme almost religiously. A lot of what ISRO does never gets told in detail, and when official information is missing, guesswork fills the gap. Before this RTI, every EOS-05 spec table online, ours included, described a satellite lost in 2021.
That's why transparency matters here. These missions are built with public money. Students, researchers and data users can only use a capability they know exists. And people can only support, question or celebrate a programme they actually understand. Openness builds trust in ISRO; it doesn't weaken it.
Every time we file an RTI or publish a report, we see comments saying this shouldn't be public, or that we're helping the enemy. We understand where that comes from, and we take it seriously.
ISRO itself never shares anything sensitive. In this very reply, its officer refused every item it treated as classified. Even so, before we publish anything, we check twice: is this worth sharing, and does it carry any strategic angle?
We're Indians too. We know where to draw the line, and we will never cross it.
ISRO chairperson V Narayanan : NVS-04 and NVS-05 to be launched within 10 months. After that one more NVS satellite will be launched within 1.5 years.

I would be surprised if all 4 flights took place within 2 months.. that's good comeback by @isro

Congratulations to our scientists and engineers at ISRO on the successful launch of GSLV-F18 carrying NVS-03.
This mission marks an important step in strengthening NavIC, our indigenous satellite navigation system. Equipped with enhanced capabilities, NVS-03 will further our pursuit of self-reliance in critical technologies and support navigation services that benefit our people.
The dedication and ingenuity of our space scientists continue to make our nation proud.
@isro
Congratulations @isro and all my space friends
Phew! NVS missions on GSLV are always nail-biting! 😅🚀
Congratulations to Team ISRO on the successful launch of NVS-03! 🇮🇳🚀
A major boost to NavIC, India’s indigenous navigation system and strategic autonomy.
Once commissioned, NVS-03 is expected to restore the minimum four-satellite capability for independent 3D positioning, with upcoming launches strengthening the constellation further.
A vital step towards a self-reliant India in space!

2017 IIT Bombay Techfest, found out that ground segment for NAviC was being developed there, and that four sats were needed to keep the 'constellation' operational, main advantage is time to resolution, have higher hopes from @VyomIC_Space as launch cadence is still 6 months!
