My friend's wife is a Assistant Vice President in HSBC Hyderabad.
Her annual pay package is upwards 40 lakhs
She is asking for 50 lakhs Alimony and 2.5 lakhs maintanence
Plus she is coming to the court lying on an affidavit that she is earning only 90,000 per month.
Ab batao
To those who have an issue with alimony, understand this before demanding its complete abolition.
Imagine a woman gets married at 25.
She leaves her job because her husband and family want her to manage the household.
For the next 15 years, she raises children, takes care of the family and supports her husband's career.
Meanwhile, her husband builds his career, earns well, buys properties and becomes financially secure.
At 40, the marriage breaks down. He walks out with his income, savings, career and financial independence. She walks out with 15 years of career gap, limited earning opportunities and the responsibility of rebuilding her life.
Now tell me, should she simply be told to start earning and survive on her own?
This is exactly why alimony exists.
Alimony is not a reward for being a woman. It is not a punishment for being a man. It is a legal mechanism to prevent one spouse from being left financially vulnerable after a marriage, especially when one spouse sacrificed career opportunities for the family.
And no, alimony is not automatically granted in every divorce. Courts consider income, financial needs, lifestyle during marriage, earning capacity, responsibilities and other circumstances.
Alimony is legal because financial dependence, unequal career sacrifices and unpaid household contributions are real problems.
Marriage is not just about who earns the salary. The person managing the household and raising children also contributes to the family's financial success.
Yes, false allegations and misuse of legal provisions can happen. Such cases deserve strict scrutiny and appropriate action.
But the existence of fake cases does not mean the entire law should be abolished. By that logic, we should abolish every law that has ever been misused.
Punish the misuse. Protect the genuine victims.
ALIMONY IS A LEGAL RIGHT OF A FINANCIALLY DEPENDENT SPOUSE.

This is very unfortunate that the metro which was built by hard working men is given in the hands of women to operate and being termed as special giving all credit to women who will just drive an automated train on a single designated line. Why are men never given any importance in this country?

What makes Pune Metro's new Pink Line so special?
23 km connecting Hinjewadi's IT hub with Shivajinagar.
Operated by women.
Almost a third of the electricity needs planned from solar energy.
Tomorrow, this Rs. 8,300 crore infra enhancement will be inaugurated!

On 17 July 2026, Tristan and I were in Washington, D.C. having spent the preceding days meeting with more than 100 people within and connected to the U.S. political system. Our conversations focused on mobilizing young people ahead of the midterm elections and the influence of independent cultural figures over a generation traditional politicians have failed to reach.
That same day, whilst Labour announced Andy Burnham as its new leader, I flew to Miami to host a boxing event with Jon Jones. The next day, Tristan and I were arrested under provisional extradition warrants, before any substantive evidence had been presented to the US court.
I have now spent 109 days in solitary confinement.
I publicly supported Donald Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024, playing what many people consider a meaningful role in the cultural shift behind his return to the White House. Even Kamala Harris has discussed my electoral influence in her autobiography. People like Charlie Kirk and I challenged political orthodoxy and reached young men whom the establishment had abandoned.
I was doing the same in Britain, challenging Labour over grooming gangs, mass immigration and freedom of speech, while supporting the movements around Reform UK and Restore.
Now consider the extraordinary coincidence: two brothers, different complainants, different allegations, different dates and separate investigations, yet extradition warrants issued simultaneously and both arrested together.
The political interference was obvious with MPs openly calling for action against us for our online speech. The coordination and timing are blatantly a politically motivated attempt to silence me ahead of the US midterms and during a critical period in British politics.
Tommy Robinson faces criminal proceedings. Nigel Farage and Reform UK face investigations and scrutiny. Meanwhile, I remain in solitary confinement. This is a perfect example of the treatment of political dissent under the Labour Party.
This is bigger than me. What happens when somebody challenges powerful institutions and accepts the risks of speaking freely, only to find that those who benefited from their courage are unwilling to defend their basic rights?
Last night's election results should prompt serious reflection about what happens when political parties lose the trust of their own supporters.
Every young person considering speaking publicly is watching. If controversy means abandonment, why should they believe that institutions promising freedom will defend their rights when it matters? I receive thousands of messages asking precisely that question.
I have spent 109 days fighting for my liberty due to political interference by a Labour government whose actions I have repeatedly challenged.
You cannot claim to defend freedom while treating the freedom of controversial people as expendable.

Make sure you take dowry of at least ₹1 crore.
Because alimony is now running into crores.
Today, you will deny taking dowry. Tomorrow, the same wife may claim that she gave you dowry — even when she never did. And then demand crores in alimony.
So don’t be shy.
Take it today, or cry later!
Alimony is nothing but legal extortion through judges and police. And when the demand comes, you won’t even get a chance to say NO.
I will say ‘No To dowry’ only when i see atleast 100 punished to jail for “dowry giving” until then i am a happy to called a proud dowry taker.

Scene at the multiplex at Bangalore after screening of the Love Lottery movie.
It is a very well made movie with all the details about how an innocent man and his parents can be trapped and destroyed.
For young men, it is quite educational. It teaches about how even green flags can lead to a trap.
This movie should be screened in different cities for young men to wake up.

We are filing RTI to Bengaluru Police!
We have sought clarification on one simple question:
Was the woman’s original mobile phone, through which she allegedly recorded the incident, collected by police BEFORE registration of the FIR?
If yes, what is the date and time of submission?
If not, on what basis was the FIR registered without first collecting the alleged primary evidence?
Let’s see what the police records reveal.
