Sick. But it needs to have a fuzzy avatar option otherwise I am not interested.
Something really exciting and off-putting about this time is it’s all going exactly as we thought how it’d go all those years ago when midjourney release v4 and we saw the writing on the wall for Hollywood post pandemic; but as it’s happening, watching rocket companies buy Harry Potter, it still feels super super weird.
John Malone is predicting an $8-10B deal between Skydance and SpaceX. Elon has repeatedly said full generative movies and series are the goal for Grok Imagine. A content/output deal could give him training data and rights access to major franchises now under Skydance, including Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. A fully legal Grok generated final season of GoT, or a Hogwarts tv series with the inclusion of an extremely popular female Slytherin are drawing closer to reality.
any form of cruelty, whether toward an animal, an ai model, or another human being, is obviously just plain wrong.
i don't think consciousness, pain, or the capacity to suffer should be prerequisites for kindness.
even if something cannot suffer, what exactly is the point of being cruel to it?
I've said it a million times, agi will not "achieved" on a normal Tuesday/Thursday release of opus 6.5 or GPT 7 Apollo... it will be understood as having been created in hindsight after some major cataclysmic event (I'm optimistic though, just something that is scary enough for history to be made) that we will look back on and say "THAT is when we created agi."
Scoop: Top executives at Anthropic, OpenAI and other AI companies are privately gaming out scenarios for a public and political revolt after a catastrophic AI event…They assume one in ‘27…

I’m going to wager that he’s still using, as is anyone involved at every part of the stack of making movies. Ai is the new porn: everyone watches, everyone uses, everyone is ashamed. Except in this case the shame is truly so so stupid.
Andrew Garfield says he stopped using ChatGPT as “a fancy Google” after playing Sam Altman in Luca Guadagnino’s new movie “Artificial”:
“Luckily, I don’t need [ChatGPT] in my life in the same way that other people in other industries might. As an actor, I was using it as a kind of fancy Google for some research purposes. I know that it’s not what it’s meant for.”

Really really hoping this delivers Astra intelligence at super low token cost. Really really hoping Google is back. Really, really hoping.
honestly guys, until gpt 6 and claude 5 family of models, or gpt 7/ claude 6 etc, are multi modal and can truly watch video, we haven't moved the needle nearly as far as we thought.
Ok, this must be the top of ai safety when tmz is gonna be chasing engineers from the labs outside airports, asking about multi agent paradigms and Millenium prizes and pdoom; this has to be the absolute top, and if it’s not and ai drama supplants all tabloid drama my god the next decade is really gonna blow no matter how many types of cancer get cured.
Few people laughed, few people cried… I am become Shiva the God of Death and the destroyer of worlds… I suppose we all think that, one way or another…
The anti ai sentiment among the Hollywood crowd is going to flip completely, soon and swift.
looks like south park is going to fully embrace ai in production. they already have a head of artificial intelligence & are building an entire ai production team.
this is what genuinely forward thinking ppl like matt & trey do. no stupid ideological bs & no resistance for the sake of resistance.
this kind of pragmatism is surprisingly rare among celebrities.
