Google just made AI video longer and 30% cheaper.
Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash is now GA: 15-second clips, $0.07/sec at 720p, and you can edit a clip by chatting instead of starting over.
For creators, that edit-in-chat part is the real win.
What would you make first?
My niece flew in from Kazakhstan, and over breakfast she showed me something I can't stop thinking about.
We were talking about @Tesla, @SpaceX and @neuralink. Then she said: "You know there's a device from Kazakhstan that helps blind people see?"
She pulled up the videos. Blind people riding bikes. Walking through rooms on their own. Hitting targets.
It's called SEZUAL. You wear it around your neck, it clicks like a bat, and the brain turns the echoes into a 3D picture of the world: distance, shape, even glass vs metal.
Kazakhstan's economy is growing, and inventors there are quietly building tools like this for people the world often forgets.
Neuralink is working on Blindsight to restore sight through the brain. SEZUAL is trying to do it with sound, today.
@elonmusk do you think sound-based vision like this could help people until Blindsight is ready?
Thinking Machines just shipped Inkling 2 Small. Open weights next week.
594B MoE, 17B active, score 31 on Artificial Analysis. Live on Tinker now.
If you fine-tune models, watch this one.
Try Tinker first, or wait for the weights?
Meta just made Muse forget less.
Active Memory cut forgetting of critical info 2.4x. Active Focus: 67% better at finishing everyday tasks when something breaks.
Your AI should carry context, not make you re-explain.
What do you still have to remind your AI every week?

Two years of AI progress in one.
METR spent 11 weeks inside Anthropic. Finding: models improving about twice as fast, mostly from AI helping build the next AI.
If labs get this lift, your day-to-day tools jump next.
Are you using AI to build with AI yet?
I haven't sorted my inbox by hand in weeks.
AI labels every email: needs me today, can wait, receipts, noise. It drafts replies in my tone but never sends on its own.
AI sorts. I still make the calls.
What's the one email you'd never let an AI touch?

What's new in Grok Bot - Nov 2, 2026
Grok Bot just added shopping: product cards, product pages, order tracking and payments.
The part most people will miss: it doesn't buy on its own. Checkout comes into the chat, you tap Pay, and your card stays in the Vault, where it never sees the number.
What's the first thing you'd actually let it buy?
@amanrsanger @mntruell @ericzakariasson 👋 Could someone on the team take a look? I'm blocked from my projects until the merge is completed 🛠️ Thank you!
