The UK is full of a bunch of prudes. For stuff like CSAM, we all understand why that's illegal. But if everyone is a consenting adult and no one gets hurt... why are you banning it? What does that accomplish?

Stumbled on this post again. Reminded that I got an animation from an asian artist that was done within 2 weeks. However, an american artist for a fullbody flat-color image has taken nearly 4 years to even send a WIP, but posts personal work nearly daily.

I think the reason Twitter is being even more strict to NSFW accounts is because of how easy it is to find CSAM here It shows up even if youre not looking for it and since it usually has a filter on it auto-mods dont detect it reliably Sucks that artists have to suffer for this

Making an indie animation is PAIN! Your only option is to get merch or get a fat loan, or have a studio (like Glitch) fund it Sponsors want an easy return, and animation is a MASSIVE risk, so most stay far away from new shows Old shows are easier to pitch to sponsors. (Batman)

Okay genuine question. Why do indie shows continue to fund themselves via overpriced merch instead of just getting a sponsor and not being indie? None of them make anything that isn't tropey safe family friendly animation so what exactly is the need to stay independent.
