I’ve been to college football stadiums all over the country. P4, G5, FCS. I’ve never experienced the hospitality from the fans and staff I encountered at Kennesaw State last night. Kudos Owls.

From the American release on adding JMU. 6 primary areas of evaluation for membership. How many of these can Liberty check the box on?

Our market isn’t getting us into a different conference. We need something else. Our academics aren’t getting us into a different conference. We need something else. Our reputation isn’t getting us into a different conference. We need something else.

I get that, I’m just proving a point. I don’t think it’s something that hurts us when Harrisonburg is so much lower. Other factors than academics and TV rankings is what hurts us.

We have to win in football. A lot. And stay out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons. That’s all we can control. We did great in this regard 2018-2023. Have taken a step backwards last couple of years. Hope it was just a blip. If it was, we will continue moving forward.
