🔥🚨 BOOM! — Byron Donalds says Republicans LOST the midterms because Leader John Thune and RINOs failed to pass the SAVE America Act and Trump’s border security measures.
"There were some opportunities I think that were MISSED—NOT passing the SAVE America Act!"
"NOT getting some of the key policies done, like putting through President Trump’s border security packages and codifying that into law."
"I think that stuff frustrated Republicans."

These losses are mostly on you.
Never has a Senate Majority Leader worked so hard against a president of his own party.

There's a saying on American social media:
"Be the American that Japanese people think you are."
I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life.
So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room.
"When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38)
"An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61)
"If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45)
"At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio)
"A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21)
"At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70)
"American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33)
"I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48)
"When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39)
"They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66)
And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country.
"Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing.
The people running toward it.
There are always so many."
So, America.
You don't have to become the Americans we think you are.
We're not imagining you.
We're remembering you.

It's crazy how if you are a Republican who governs your state well, without scandal, fights back intelligently when necessary, you can not only weather 1 of the greatest political storms in recent history, but you can run the table. DeSantis earned loyalty instead of demanding it

As a white guy, nothing has disappointed me more than generations of pathetic, submissive, feminine, white guys enabling the death of the civilization their ancestors built.
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

South Carolina now has an incoming Democrat Senator because a (tiny) majority of GOP primary voters there thought that a Senate seat was a family heirloom, like a locket or a quilt, to be passed on from Lindsey to Darlene
It was a deeply unwise choice

Tonight stings. But I'm a gay man who still wants a border, safe streets, and kids who aren't confused by their teachers. Losing an election doesn't change what's true. It just means we have to work harder for 2028. I'm not going anywhere.

There is a massive lesson here tonight, one that the republican party REFUSES to learn.
When you HAVE power... USE IT.
Don't apologize for using it.
Don't use it sparingly.
ENACT YOUR AGENDA as quickly and completely as you can.
Republicans get elected and sit on their hands.
Johnny Conch retweeted
Congratulations to all the Democrat victors tonight, and to all the lazy, worthless Republicans who let it happen.
Johnny Conch retweeted
So, Democrats don’t actually give a shit about "making life affordable."
They don’t care about you. Just "get Trump."
You all got played again. 🤡
100% right
It’s hard to convey how frustrating has been to see the GOP throw away tens of millions of donor dollars propping up a candidate to prove a point and protect their egos.
What they did to Ralph Norman was a complete betrayal of MAGA.
Regardless of if Darline eeks it out over Annie Andrews or not - South Carolina will never be the same again and the people here will pay the price
What a colossally stupid exercise in vanity and self-sabotage.
Johnny Conch retweeted
Well this sucks.
I’m going to rant for a few moments and then move on in a positive way.
My three unvarnished thoughts on tonight:
1. Any MAGA voter who sat this out to "prove a point" to the eGOP who now lives under Democrat rule deserves what they are about to experience.
2. Trump knew Iran could cost the midterms. But he did it anyway. Because he knows that the Iranian mullahs are theocratic madmen who are trying to build nuclear weapons so they can use them on the USA and Israel, precipitating Armageddon so the Hidden Imam will arise from a well in Qom and force what’s left of humanity to convert to Shia Islam. So Trump had to choose. Win the midterms or save humanity? He chose wisely. Historians will eventually acknowledge this reality.
3. The PRIMARIES are where you make RINOs pay, not the general. Geez.
So THAT’S all over and it’s on to 2028 to save America. Let’s put this behind us, pull together as patriotic conservative Americans, squash the squabbling, infighting and name calling, and get back to where we need to be.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
No. No it was not.
Onward to 2028…. (I’m dropping the name of my preferred presidential candidate in the morning.)
Johnny Conch retweeted
He damned sure did. Now he’s going to see the wrath of conservatives.

No matter what happens tonight, Kalshi and Polymarket need to be investigated for election interference.
These fucking numbers make absolutely no sense and save your gaslighting bullshit that its all legit.
Betting on political races is an insane notion.
And that’s coming from someone who loves betting on political races.
Never start a war unless you're prepared to win it quickly, decisively and ruthlessly.
Wars are not real estate negotiations you stop and start and stop again.
