Jamie Crouch retweeted
Not signing a striker when your only striker has been out for the whole of pre-season with a persistent injury was the greatest act of idiocy and self-harm by the Manchester United hierarchy and emblematic of their hopeless reign
🚨 Confirmed: Benjamin Sesko out until at least January through shin injury.
Period of rest is required so striker is fully healed.

Another classic Harry Pork Pie like 80% of the other stories he tells.
🚨Wow!!!! Who is the player!?
Harry Redknapp is asked about falling out with players who wanted to leave. He recounts a story of a top player who demanded a move to a big club. When the club refused to sell him, the player threatened: “If you don’t sell me, on Saturday I kick the ball in my own goal.”
Redknapp says he warned the player that if he did it, he’d tell the fans, who would turn up at his house, and he’d have to leave the country. He firmly refuses to name the player despite repeated pressure from the hosts
Just delaying the inevitable, also shows the owners are happy to toss another season off.
Michael Carrick to be given time to turn things in around at #MUFC. Expected to be in charge for Chelsea on Saturday live on @talkSPORT
What do United do to these top players that join them? Tielemans been consistently one of the premier leagues best players in the last few years at Villa, comes to United and can’t trap cement.
No confidence, no belief and no quality. United are lucky to be only 2 down. Hard to see Carrick surviving this but the football club from top to bottom is a shambles.
Admire him as a manager and think he would do well in the short term but if the current ownership couldn’t deal with Amorim they’ll find conte is on another level of hard work!
He should run a mile from it.
Exclusive with @JBurtTelegraph - Julian Nagelsmann would listen to an approach from Manchester United if the club sack Michael Carrick. German expected to be among leading candidates if a change is made #mufc

Spot on. Owners/technical director/manager/players none of them are good enough at United that’s why the clubs in the position it’s in.
Self preservation mode. Time for the manager to go under the bus.
🚨🗣️ Bruno Fernandes calling out Carrick & the backroom staff: "It's a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence."
🗣️ Bruno on whether he is saying Michael Carrick got his tactics wrong: "That's on the manager and staff to see, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable. As you saw with them [Como], the centre-back was coming to mark me in my own half. We need to do that as a team but we were unable to."
🗣️ Bruno: "A team that plays through the middle with small connections, if you give them too much time and space then they can hurt you out wide."
Another team United play against who just look more sharper, fitter, well drilled, more organised and generally just a better football team.
Fair result, not a great game. Going to be a long season unless some serious money is spent in January which won’t happen.
Amazing what happens when you do the basics right and concentrate on running and getting to the ball first.
And people wonder why so many boxers return positive tests when this is the sort of stance the boxing authorities take on PEDs.
🚨BREAKING. The WBC has confirmed that it will take no action against Lawrence Okolie falling his postive PED test on 8th April 2026
The WBC stated that "Mr. Okolie fully cooperated with the WBC’s review and provided extenuating evidence supporting his position that the prohibited substance entered his system as a result of the actions of a third party, without his knowledge or consent. The WBC considered that mitigating evidence, together with Mr. Okolie’s unblemished testing history and cooperation throughout the process when reaching the agreed resolution."
There’s no doubt he’s right and he probably talks for most of the senior players in the dressing room but that’s not an excuse for him not defending properly or the players not working hard enough on the pitch.
