Fantastic to visit @abinbev ’s Magor Brewery this afternoon – Europe’s largest brewery, and one of Newport East’s most important employers. Producing and bottling around 6 million beers every day, the site employs almost 600 people, with the vast majority living locally 1/2

Great evening in Caldicot with our councillors and MP Catherine for annual Christmas light switch on. Congrats to all for putting on such a good event and bringing the community together. Well done also to Crossway Nursery (pictured) which was named best Christmas window as well.

A wholesome morning celebrating mine and Joseph’s @parkrun milestones. I know I talk about parkrun a lot on social media, but there is a real running community in South Wales and that is evident with the number of parkruns we have on our doorstep. I am proud to be part of it.

I was pleased to take part in the annual Newport Merchant Navy Association (MNA) service of remembrance this morning - honouring and remembering those seafarers who died in times of conflict. Diolch to Alan and everyone locally at the MNA for organising today’s service.

Was great to meet the guys from Exiles Amateur Boxing Club on Friday and hear their plans to find a permanent premises in the city. I want to see our young people have the best facilities possible so they can live healthy and active lifestyle. #ActiveNewport
