I can criticize it because I’m getting fucked monthly by healthcare premiums for my family
Replying to @JHartFlips
You can't criticize something without having a better alternative option. Where's Trump with his beautiful healthcare plan that he's been yapping about since 2016?

Obamacare wrecking people
BREAKING: The average cost of a family’s annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303. This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300. Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Notre Dame is everyone’s favorite to win the College Football Playoffs and have just a 3 point lead on Wisconsin at the half 😬

I started around the same time. Tried a bunch of things including Amazon. I was inspired by @JHartFlips, @ZachAltmyer , and @WestCoast_Goodz to really make a go at arbitrage. I loved sourcing and Amazon started well for me. My speciality was Costco arbitrage all said. But my passion had always been Comics. Using the principals of sourcing that I learned from the fellas lead to me owning and operating a comic business. Our Ecommerce brand is a fantastic business, the brick and mortar not so much for now. I would not have started without the support and coaching only a community of like minded people can provide. Follow & learn from these folks here, niche down into what works for you. Your end will probably be different from the start but the journey along the way will be fun.
Back in 2018, I wanted to make an extra $500 a month. I tried blogging, fixing iPhones, dropshipping. None of them stuck. I bought an Art of Flipping course on Twitter. Listed a few things around the house to learn how. Sold most of them in a week and I was hooked. Moved to garage sales and thrift stores. Scanned as much as I could and flipped a few more things. Then I moved to clearanced products in local pharmacies and hardware stores, stumbled upon gold finding a couple discontinued products Took the leap and started selling on Amazon in 2021. Discovered Toyfolio, which taught me how to buy and hold toys and that helped me figure out how to do it with regular household products. Had the pleasure of serving as a mod for Products for Profit and now RA Playbook Connected with some big-time sellers who were way smarter than me. Opened my eyes over the years. Took a chance by starting a newsletter about discontinued products on Substack. In just a year, over 1,000 subscribers at different tiers. Been doing it all part-time. Plenty of highs and lows. Made a lot of mistakes but more importantly, I learned a lot about myself along the way. Reselling is one crazy journey.

If people used hours worked to purchase x,y, & z, I believe there would be less dumb shit purchased If you make $20/hr and you want the new iPhone that costs $2600, it’s not $2600. It’s 130 hours of work 3.25 40 hr work weeks
