Commander Strategic Command's tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
ALT It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh. He was an inspirational figure, who exemplified the very best of the values that all of us in the Armed Forces hold so dear. Dedicated to a life of service for our country, as a Royal Navy Officer during the Second World War and as Consort to Her Majesty The Queen. He was a lifelong supporter of the Armed Forces, and also of Service charities. On behalf of everyone at Strategic Command, I offer my thoughts and hearfelt prayers to Her Majesty The Queen and The Royal Family.
