Suffering through election night without the needle is inconceivable. It's cruel and unusual. NYT has to fix this immediately.
We are on ULP strike. We gave @nytimes management months of notice of our strike deadline, we made ourselves available around the clock, but the company has decided that our members aren’t worth enough to agree to a fair contract and stop committing unfair labor practices.
Quirk of when I became a citizen, but I have never voted for a presidential ticket that didn't have a woman on it.
Proud to say that my vote today continued that streak.
I must have watched this ad 6+ times now and it brings the tears every time.

If you claim to be a leader in any way—political leader, thought-leader, business leader, religious leader—and you don’t stand up and say clearly that America must keep this man away from power, then you’re no kind of leader at all.
I was walking to and then in Central Park in NYC. Car horns started blaring, people cheering, pots and pans being banged, people started dancing and playing music in the park. It was truly joyful.

Hard to see the letters I’m typing through the tears streaming down my face though.
One-on-one with male friends, when I express how I felt about having children while being a litigator or about turning 40, etc., I get an extremely positive and validating response.
If you feel lonely or isolated, try opening up more. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
