The JK Bank recruitment notification raises serious questions about fairness and equal opportunity. Thousands of educated young people have spent years preparing for these posts, only to find themselves excluded by an age limit that fails to reflect the ground reality of Jammu and Kashmir.
If JKSSB can provide an upper age limit of 40 years, why can't JK Bank adopt a similar approach? Our youth deserve opportunities, not additional barriers.
Raise the age limit to 40. Ensure a transparent and fair recruitment process. Don't let years of preparation go to waste.

Tragic death of 20-year-old Adnan Akbar from Kralpora, Qaziabad, in a horrifying incident near Lakhanpur.
A minor argument reportedly turned fatal, with Adnan allegedly being assaulted and pushed onto the road, and being overrun by the vehicle resulting in his death. The vehicle fled but was later traced and apprehended by police in Punjab.
This is much more than road rage. The concept of Kashmiri being a lesser mortal is almost a given even among the common masses, across the country. This case is homicidal.
