Despite reports of his blood pressure reaching dangerously high levels, he continues to be denied an urgent transfer to hospital and the medical attention he desperately needs. This is no longer merely a question of political persecution. It is a matter of human life, fundamental human rights and basic humanity.
This regime must be held accountable for deliberately putting his life at risk. The continued denial of proper medical care, amid growing concerns about his deteriorating health, raises deeply alarming questions about their intentions. It is increasingly difficult to view this as anything other than a calculated attempt to end his political existence by whatever means necessary.
The world must not wait for a tragedy to happen before it finds its voice.
The international community, human rights organisations and democratic governments must intervene immediately and demand his safe transfer to a properly equipped hospital, independent medical assessment and unrestricted access to his family and personal doctors.
History will not forgive those who remained silent when a human life was at stake. Imran Khan’s life must be protected. Act now, before it is too late.

– On 2 Nov his lawyer was allowed a brief meeting at Adiala Jail, the first in 7 months.
– Khan reports his blood pressure spiked to 192. He never had high BP, and it was normal a year ago. The family's medical advisors say developing it suddenly at 70+ is virtually unheard of.
– He says the problems began only after more than a year of total isolation, and accuses those holding him of trying to kill him by withholding proper treatment.
– The family demands his immediate admission to an independent hospital in Islamabad, with his personal doctor present.
– A Supreme Court order from August 2026 for treatment at Shifa International Hospital has still not been implemented.
– He survived multiple attempts on his life before jail, including being shot several times in the leg, one bullet narrowly missing his femoral artery.
– If anything happens to him now, the family says, it will be cold-blooded murder.

Khan, with His Lawyer in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
Yesterday on 2 November 2026 for some strange reason of its own the military dictatorship in
Pakistan allowed Imran Khan’s lawyer to meet him briefly. This happened after 7 months.
Access to a lawyer is a basic right of every prisoner. This lawyer is so frightened if he says
too much they might not let him meet the prisoner again. Not that it matters in the larger
scheme of things. This prisoner is unlikely to receive any justice in this country because
there is no rule of law and there are no independent rule of law institutions in this
country even on paper, especially after the Pakistani Constitution was trashed through
the 26th amendment by the current ruling mafia. Through this lawyer my brother sent me a
message from prison that his blood pressure had shot up to 192 the day before and he
accused the ruling dictator of trying to kill him by failing to provide him with proper
medical treatment. He also mentioned until they subjected him to conditions of total
isolation over a year ago he never had these problems.
Imran Khan has never had high blood pressure. As recently as one year ago his blood
pressure was normal. Our medical advisors point out that it is virtually unheard of to
suddenly develop high blood pressure at the age of 70+ years. As his family we demand
that he is immediately admitted to an independent medical institution in Islamabad for
proper treatment before it is too late. And in the presence of his personal doctor and a doctor
of my choice.
Imran Khan has been held in jail for more than three years. UN Working Group on Arbitrary
Detention declared his detention arbitrary. UN experts have raised concerns about his
treatment, prolonged isolation and conditions of confinement; the UN Committee Against
Torture has separately highlighted broader allegations of politically motivated detention,
torture, intimidation, and repression. Amnesty International has spoken against his illegal
detention and treatment. Even the Pakistani Supreme Court decision of August 2026 that
required immediate medical treatment in the private Shifa hospital in Islamabad has not
been implemented in a blatant contempt of the highest court.
When Imran Khan was outside jail there were multiple attempts on his life, including an
assassination attempt where he was lucky to survive with several bullets in his leg with
one barely missing his main femoral artery. And while he is inside jail as his family we have
to assume they are also trying to find different ways of killing him. If he does not receive
medical treatment now if anything happens to him it would amount to cold blooded murder.

1۔ قانون سازی میں مشکلات:
ٹرمپ اپنی مرضی سے کوئی نیا قانون منظور نہیں کروا سکے گا۔ قانون سازی کے لیے کانگریس کی منظوری ضروری ہے اور اگر ایوانِ نمائندگان میں ڈیموکریٹس کو واضح اکثریت حاصل ہے تو ٹرمپ کے پیش کردہ بلز کی منظوری مشکل ہو جائے گی۔
2۔ حکومتی فنڈز کے حصول میں رکاوٹ:
امریکہ کے سرکاری بجٹ اور اخراجات کی منظوری کانگریس دیتی ہے۔ اس لیے ٹرمپ کے میگا منصوبوں، میکسیکو سرحد پر دیوار کی تعمیر اور دیگر پالیسیوں کے لیے فنڈز حاصل کرنا آسان نہیں ہوگا۔
3۔ مواخذے (Impeachment) کا خطرہ:
ڈیموکریٹس ٹرمپ کے خلاف تحقیقات شروع کر سکتے ہیں اور ان کے مواخذے کی کارروائی بھی آگے بڑھا سکتے ہیں۔
4۔ ججوں اور اہم سرکاری عہدیداروں کی تقرری میں مشکلات:
ٹرمپ اپنی مرضی سے اہم عہدوں پر تقرریاں نہیں کر سکیں گے۔ سینیٹ ان کی نامزدگیوں کو مسترد یا روک سکتی ہے۔
5۔ خارجہ پالیسی اور بین الاقوامی معاہدوں میں رکاوٹیں:
بڑے تجارتی معاہدوں، جنگی اخراجات اور دیگر اہم پالیسی فیصلوں کے لیے کانگریس کی حمایت حاصل کرنا ضروری ہوگا۔
مختصر یہ کہ:
ٹرمپ وائٹ ہاؤس میں صدر تو رہے گا، ایگزیکٹو آرڈرز بھی جاری کر سکے گا ، لیکن اس کے فیصلوں پر کانگریس اور عدالتوں کی جانب سے سخت نگرانی اور قانونی رکاوٹیں موجود رہیں گی۔
ایسی صورتحال میں ٹرمپ ایک 'Lame Duck President' (کمزور اختیارات رکھنے والا صدر) کہا جا سکتا ہے، یعنی ایسا صدر جو اپنے عہدے پر تو موجود ہو، لیکن جس کی سیاسی طاقت اور قانون سازی کی صلاحیت شدید طور پر محدود ہو چکی ہو۔
کسی بے غیرت کے بچے، جن لوگوں نے دبئی میں اربوں کی پراپرٹی ز بنائیں، جن کے نام دبئی لیکس میں آئے ان سے ابھی تک کیوں نہیں پوچھا کہ پیسہ کہاں سے آیا۔۔ ون کانسٹیٹیشن کی بلڈنگ کی بات ہو رہی ہے کہ وہ غیر قانونی طور پر تعمیر ہوئی۔ اسکے اندر فلیٹس کی بات نہیں ہو رہی بے شرم۔۔ عمران خان کو باہر نکالو تو وہ یہاں بھی تم جیسوں کو ایک بار پھر ثابت کرے گا کہ تم سارے انتہای بے غیرت قسم کے جھوٹے ہو۔
