Not long now! My debut novel , 'No Women Were Harmed', will be released on 18th September. Just the read for Autumn nights.
A proper September morning - a nip in the air, dew on the grass, sheep in the field, and the Clee in the distance. You can almost hear the mushrooms growing!
First time in Scotland (I know), I'll be at the Aye Write festival in Glasgow in November

1 c1725 Bridgnorth/Padstow- mystery/ coming of age.
2 c1930 Weimar/Nazi era Germany coming of age of English girl.
Now in the process of choosing a narrator for the audiobook - will be exciting to hear a narrator's interpretation of Lily's voice
A wonderful view of 1911 Blackpool - North Shore, a favourite destination since the coming of the railways and mentioned more than a few times in the novel! Reproduced front of postcard only as this is well out of copyright.
Born and bred in Shropshire,I am the winner of the Daily Mail First Novel Competition 2023. My first novel, 'No Women Were Harmed', the story of a young woman's fight for survival in a Victorian lunatic asylum, is due out in September 2025
