Love seeing this. Mazel tov to the Kraft family and Chabad Chestnut Hill 👏
A Chabad house changed my life as a broke law student in Ottawa. It's why Lindsay and I built the Finkelstein Chabad Jewish Centre there. We wanted to give back to the city where it all started for us.
More of this, please.

Every year on or right before 9/11, we show this video to our students. It’s not only powerful story-telling, it’s a reminder to a younger generation about how life altering 9/11 was for those of us who lived it. It’s only 10 min #themanintheredbandana

⚠️ Anti-Semitic YouTuber Tyler Oliveira, who was seen in Williamsburg earlier today, is reportedly now in Crown Heights.
Community members are advised not to engage with him, participate in interviews, or become involved in confrontations. He has previously been accused by critics of targeting Orthodox Jewish communities and is widely viewed by some as seeking controversial content rather than engaging in good-faith dialogue.
Residents are encouraged to remain respectful, avoid interactions, and continue with their day. The best response is often no response at all.

Twenty-five years ago today, a Hamas suicide bomber murdered 16 people and injured more than 120 at the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem. Among the victims were Americans Judith Greenbaum, Chana Nachenberg, and 15-year-old Malka Roth. May their memories be a blessing.
We stand with @Israel against terrorism in all its forms and remain committed to bringing every last fugitive of this heinous act to justice.

Jewish, pro-Israel, and pro-America voters need a serious wake-up call regarding the fight and environment they are facing. Someone told me last night that they plan to donate to AIPAC to try to stop El-Sayed in the general, and I pointed out that that’s the worst thing they could do if that was actually their goal.
AIPAC spending has a negative ROI at this point. They have to spend ten dollars for every dollar on the other side because opponents use their spending as a cudgel against the candidates they are facing. Understanding how to frame things and what messaging works is important.
Pushing anti-American nonsense wasn’t a winning message for the DSA or the isolationist right. Pushing propaganda on behalf of evil regimes like the Islamic Republic, the CCP, and Moscow wasn’t popular with voters either. Supporting terrorists who want to kill Americans didn't generate great turnout. Open bigotry wasn’t that popular either.
So what did the DSA and their counterparts on the alt-right do? They simply reframed their messaging and rebranded.
They kept the same positions while framing them as “America-first” and pointing to Israel/AIPAC/Jews as the real enemies causing all the distress in voters’ lives.
They reframed the belief that we should oppose these bad forces as somehow distracting from focusing on the interests of Americans.
You can obviously make the factual points that it’s silly to claim military aid that Israel spends on American companies is the reason for any lack of investment elsewhere, or that none of their conspiracies have factual support, or that agents for “Death to America” regimes, the CCP, and Russian TV don’t actually have the interests of Americans in mind. But convincing people of the reality is just very difficult in this low-trust environment.
You have to adjust.
If AIPAC has become toxic, then drop AIPAC. Move on. Spend your money directly on candidates opposing DSA types and other anti-American terror apologists.
Create groups that do the same without the stigma that the above opponents will take advantage of. The brand or term (like “Zionism”) isn’t what matters—the ideas behind them are. Refocus on winning the fights that matter and framing your cause in a way that can be successful.
Our enemies have gotten smarter and found ways to rebrand the same toxic ideas they've pushed for a long time. It's necessary for people who care about these causes to also adjust.

The hijackers of Air France Flight 139 separate the hostages into Jewish Israelis and non-Jews.
As they do so, a Holocaust survivor shows a hijacker his camp registration number tattooed on his arm, and he is subsequently told that he will be killed first.

Trump’s about-face makes no ideological sense. Zero.
But at the end of the day, Trump is about Trump.
He thought this war would be quick and easy “4-5 weeks”. Truth is, if he succeeded, America would’ve been most powerful county in the history of the world. Instead, markets and oil were shaky before his “deal,” inflation came in hot, and suddenly the real threat became the midterms.
Trump lives off the perception of strength and economic stability. It’s why he keeps pumping markets, it’s his barometer of “success”. Once that narrative starts cracking heading into an election cycle, everything changes.
End of day, Trump is about Trump.

The current anti-Israel and even anti-Jewish sentiment online is a social contagion, no different than transgenderism or autism before it.
Of course, there is actually a condition known as gender dysphoria. But every family in Hollywood didn't suddenly and coincidentally have at least one child with gender dysphoria at the exact same time by natural processes.
And of course there is actually a condition known as autism. But every family in Manhattan didn't suddenly and coincidentally have at least one child with autism at the exact same time by natural processes.
You aren't an Israel skeptic, and you didn't start "noticing." You were told, and shown by interested parties, and you were rewarded with attention and dopamine by the tellers and showers.
And as with every social contagion, what you have been told and shown is an overwhelming quantity of selectively chosen half-truths -- or full-truths with half-context.
You believe you are a free thinker, but when every "free thinker" arrives at the same conclusion at the exact same time... well, the thinking isn't as free as you believe it is.
