We’re adding a new tool to make validator participation more flexible and fair: Performance Bonds💰 🔗 app.jpool.one/validators/DPm…
A performance bond is a $SOL deposit that temporarily covers APY shortfalls, enabling validators to join the JPool Delegation Program (JPDP) – or stay in it – even when their performance dips.
Here’s the quick breakdown:
🟡 For existing JPDP validators: Deposit $SOL as a bond to stay in the pool in case you temporarily fall below the APY threshold. The bond is used only in the epochs where you receive JPool stake, and only if your APY for that epoch is insufficient.
🟡 For new validators: Post a bond to qualify for JPDP entry (other inclusion conditions still apply, of course), even if your APY isn’t there yet.
If the bond runs out before the node’s APY improves, it exits JPDP automatically.
This model keeps delegation fair, flexible, and performance-driven 💪
