There is something audacious about turning your failures into a lesson for others while remaining so reluctant to account for them. That's the problem with Carl Lentz's new book, as Daniel Silliman argues. roysreport.com/analysis-hill…

Rachel is spot on. This bullsh*t about the Chicago Bears moving to Hammond, Indiana, because the f*ucking BILLIONAIRE ownership wants more $$$—and they’ve found a state that will steal from their own people to give it to them—is everything wrong with America today.
The not-Chicago Bears? Today the Bears released a statement saying how excited they were for their “vision” of a taxpayer-funded stadium in Hammond, INDIANA. Umm…nope. If you can’t afford to keep the team in Chicago, sell it. Period.

A white man from a Christian family killed Charlie Kirk. Weird sales pitch.
JD Vance: "If you miss Charlie Kirk…do you promise to take the country back from the people who took his life?" Take the country back?

Its wild how far people will stretch to defend the behavior of the leaders they like. Well do emotional acrobatics; minimize, excuse, deflect, spin to protect our attachment to them. Its not about truth, its about identity. When politics becomes personal, honesty becomes optional

"As a Christian, one thing I love about Trump is that he openly rejects the basic moral teachings of Jesus"
As a Christian, one thing I love about Trump is how shameless he is about saying "Love my enemies? No way man, I hate those guys!" So cool how the honesty allows the conversation to actually happen, rather than a bunch of pious platitudes.

It’s fascinating that so many of the same people who yell “It’s loving to point out someone’s sin to them, so they can repent"... are also the same people who bristle when someone points out Charlie's racism and antisemitism via his own words, on video. Self-awareness is a gift.

A few years ago, “Christianity Today” Editor in Chief Russell Moore made headlines when he said pastors told him that Christians today say the love ethic of the Sermon on the Mount doesn’t work anymore. 1/5

He’s lying. The statistics - including his own government and own FBI’s statistics - say the exact opposite. Well, for now. I’m sure they’ll doctor them going forward like they plan to do for the jobs numbers.
Vance: "While our side of the aisle certainly has its crazies, it is a statistical fact that most of the lunatics in American politics today are proud members of the far-Left."

This was literally 18 months ago.
If Joe Biden federalizes the National Guard, that would be a direct attack on states' rights. Over the last several years, we've seen Democrats try to take away our Freedoms of religion, assembly, and speech. We can't let them take away our right to defend ourselves, too. South Dakota defends the Constitution.

I was hungry, but you passed a bill that cut funding for food stamps so billionaires could get more tax breaks. I was thirsty, but you removed environmental protections and left me without clean water. I was a stranger, but ICE agents arrested me and put me in a concentration camp surrounded by alligators. I was sick, but you cut billions of dollars from Medicaid and I couldn’t get the healthcare I needed. I was in prison, but you left me there in unconscionable conditions because you made money off of it. Whatever you did to the least of these, my siblings, you did to me. (how I think Jesus would have phrased Matthew 25 if he was preaching in America right now)

BREAKING: Both the White House and RNCC have lashed out at the creators of this ad. It must have struck a nerve. Maybe they don't like being outed as fascists. You know what to do: SPREAD THIS EVERYWHERE! #MAGAKidnappers

Trump looking absolutely inconsolable at his fascist-themed 79th birthday party which no one turned up to other than those who had to because he's their boss.

BREAKING: In shocking footage of Trump in 2020 that is now going viral, Trump says it’s against the law for a president to call in the National Guard on his own: “We can't call in the National Guard unless we're requested by a governor.” MAGA = 🤡.
